E-cloth does not use silver. The fibers are what makes the E-cloth pick up 99% of bacteria. Then you need to rinse them out and let them dry to get rid of the bacteria. The Silver in Norwex just speeds up the killing of the bacteria in the cloth as it dries. It does not kill the bacteria on the surface. If you are cleaning any meat juice or using in the toilet area, you would probably want to wash the cloths before using in other places! **Q: I cannot get my mop handle to lengthen?
