Does the shoe comfortably fit when you order your normal size? Yes. Are they reasonably comfortable to wear? About as much as you'd expect a £16 pair of shoes to be, yes. Do they look like nice trainers when new? Yes. So why the 1 star rating? Answer: They make a loud, irritating popping noise with every single step you take on a hard surface (such as a pavement), like a bubble of air is getting trapped then released. Bwap, bwap, bwap, bwap....every single step. Did my head in within 10 minutes. Unwearable. I didn't expect something on par with a pair of Nikes for the money, but honestly I've bought better shoes for a fiver in budget high street shops.

I have a gout problem and footwear comfort is always a problem for me. But not with these trainers. From the first time I wore them they were just perfect, for walking or driving my car. They felt like an old pair of my favourite slippers. Unbelievable value at the price. I will be buying a second pair very soon.

The fit is very good, i take a size 9 UK and sometimes find a snug fit in this type of footwear. I have had a couple of long walks wearing them and found them to be comfortable. They are a little darker than they appear in the photo on Amazon, but i will still give 5 stars as they look quite smart.For the price they seem to be a very good buy.

Fit, comfort and looks are great. Only problem is that the blue dye in the canvas uppers is not fixed on my pair; so the blue comes through onto your socks and feet. As a result, they soon start to look tatty with light patches around the toe area. I could have been unfortunate in getting a pare where the dye hasn't been fixed, but there again...

Seem well made, time will tell. fit a little on the generous side , purchased size 10, 9.5 would have been better....they don't make them in 9.5!! . Thought they were slightly over size. Came with 2 pairs of insoles which did help the fit.For the price can't really grumble.

Got for my son who was travelling so we didn’t have time to return themGood price wasn’t expecting a lot, but they are so wide, son pulled laces as close as he can but the still bag and crease as he walks

These look great and I was very pleased upon receipt. However, after only 7 months and not a lot of wear, they are already coming apart at the inner rear seams on both shoes. I shall return them.

Quite comfortable and easy to wear. I have found that the canvas does stain quite easily. Not really sure why insoles were included. Good value.
