This is a solid product. I use it with my Garmin Striker Plus 4 fish finder. I like how the mount's position and angle can be easily adjusted while the assembly remains securely attached to the base.

I think the previous reviews are right on. I will just pass along a couple of other things I learned. First, I mounted a Garmin Striker Vivid 4CV. Fits perfectly. Now, you do not need to remove the 4 phillips screws as I did. I was trying to understand how the third screw would be secured between the Garmin tilt/swivel mount and the yakattack adapter. The nut is already inside and is in a hex hole that retains the nut and prevents it from spinning. Just screw that one in and add the provided nuts to the other two as they are accessible from the back. Second, the track mount on the bottom unsnaps from the unit. If you look at the bottom, you will see a couple of track guides molded in. Nice feature to add strength and stability. OK, more than a couple of points. I do not know what kind of plastic this is, but I have had it before. It looks and feels like the composite material high quality photographic lenses such as Nikon are made from. Whatever it is called, I expect it to be quite durable. The swivel joints are substantive. The wing nuts are large and easy to operate even with my big hands. This is my first yakattack product and I am positively impressed. I will look first at yakattack for yak accessories.

I purchased this mount for my Garmin Striker finder. Although it isn’t installed, I can say with confidence that this thing is SOLID. All of the connection points are solid, the lock in grooves are deep and solid. It would take a great force of nature to break this thing. Versatile mounting options and multiple positions achievable due to its design. I will be setting and forgetting, if this thing needs moved it won’t be a hassle. Look forward to installing.

I questioned how sturdy this was at first but it’s really not going to pop off. I had my doubts but after having it for months I can confirm it’s on there really well. Really convenient, I need to move my fish finder up and down every time I load my kayak in my truck and this thing has made the process easy. I didn’t understand the design at first but it has a ring around the font of it you can hang larger hooks from as well.

Instrutions would be nice. None of the screws fit on my Garmen 4+. And had a tought time trying to figure out how to get the botton off to hook it to the rail. But when I got it all setup its really strong and ferm. Should be good now.

When you need your gear secured while using it. Nothing works or looks better than YakAttack. Works perfect for my Garmin Striker Vivid 4cv.

Works as described. Tough as nails, easy to use… can’t wait to work it hard this weekend on some bluegills! For my Old Town Bigwater 132 like it grew there. Long enough for me to operate and short enough to be out of the way. Worth the price, and maybe then some.
