Choose Toggler!
These Toggler ones are excellent. (Previously I used the Timco version and they are awful.)The plastic legs are attached firmly, the zip tie part is strong and the bolts thread in easily. Will stick to this brand in future.

A great anchor for heavy items, not the easiest to install
I used four of these to install a heavy metal kitchen pan rack to a plaster wall with studs. One side aligned with a metal stud, so the anchor went inside the stud. The other side was just through plasterboard. It worked well on both sides, as the metal part that lays flat to the wall from the inside allows for a very strong connection. Extremely useful for attaching heavy things to plaster walls, into metal studs or otherwise. I think it's stronger than most other anchors. The heavy kitchen pan rack has been holding very sturdily.Installing them can be tricky. I experienced a problem where the bolt would refuse to go in after installing the anchor (despite working perfectly when testing outside the wall). Likely this was because dust went into the threads causing a jam. I ended up wasting a few anchors in this way. Eventually figured out a reliable way to make it work by using some WD40 before twisting in the bolt.

Every bit as good as advertised
Very good design and worked perfectly on a plasterboard stud wall (not dot 'n' dab) to mount a Stasdock bicycle wall mount. I used a 13mm wood/spade drill bit which was the perfect size and allowed the collar to be pushed in flush to the wall.I changed the supplied screw bolts to 60mm M6 Hex Bolts as this is what the item I was installing recommended, it really was simple and worked incredibly well.As is stated the condition and thickness of the wall and the nature of the item being installed will be a factor on the maximum weight supported, it will be greatly improved if the item has a larger flat plate mounting point rather than a smaller load bearing point on the wall surface. My only tip is don't be tempted to fiddle with the toggle bolts before installation as the collar mechanism is a one-way operation designed to lock once it is slid forward into position. This will be my go-to fitting for mounting anything of substance to a plasterboard surface from now on.

Decent product
Only used 3 of these so far and one of them had an issue of the screw not finding the hole (as in the hole on the anchor that the screw screws into) - I shone a torch into it and could see the hole, so not sure why the screw wouldn't go in. Had to take it off by using a hammer and chissel to bash the plastic bits in until I heard the anchor drop on the other side of the wall - then I was able to remove it from the hole and try another snap toggle, which worked. So it is possible to remove these from the wall, but you have to be delicate to avoid causing damage. It would have been useful if the instructions stated what size the hole should be - I tried a 12mm drill bit and it worked fine. These seem like a decent way to attach weighty items to plasterboard. I have only put up a small shelf in the bathroom for my aftershave bottles so far, and it's holding fine. Next job will be curtain poles for heavy duty, long drop curtains - I will report back here if these toggles aren't up to it! But I suspect they will be.Update:Just put some curtains up using these and it's holding well! These are really long, thick and heavy curtains from Dunelm too - so the curtains, pole and two brackets are literally being held up by two of these spring toggles. I will be putting up even wider (and therefore heavier) curtains soon in another room and plan to use these - I will try to remember to post an update of how it goes! But so far, these spring toggles are great!

Great piece of kit
Not the first time I've used this product and I got to say the ease of install and the weight it can hold it's tremendous. If you've ever had the displeasure of mounting something on the wall and the plug was either falling behind the plasterboard or the plug twists or crumbles - this is a product for you.

Secure fitting
These would have 4 stars from me except that 1) the advertising is misleading and 2) one broke during use (and they aren't cheap). The claim is "Works in both cavity and solid material up to 90mm". OK, but in what universe? The supplied bolts are only 50mm long??? The claim should be "Works in both cavity and solid material up to 90mm if you spend another £n buying 95-100mm bolts from somewhere". As for breaking during use: the metal anchor parts look quite strong so I'm not sure how the very first one I used sheared across the bolt-hole. Must have just been bad luck to have a fault in it. In spite of this, I would use these again, but I'd be cautious.

a unique and amazing product
This is the best product we've ever used to anchor heavy items to the walls. We used it to anchor Closet Maid shelves and rods in the closet. Super simple to use and worth the money.

Genial!
