We haven't had to change the batteries yet but my daughter plays with it in the tub every chance shes gets. Sometimes I just fill the tub with water so she can sit and play. It still lights up and is very bright, once in a while we turn off the lights for a more dramatic light show. Hoping it will hold up when we have to change the batteries. I always stand her on her head to dry after each play session. 7 year old LOVES this thing!

It's not every day that you see an African American mermaid, so I jumped at the chance to purchase. The colors on the tail are vibrant and my daughter loves pressing the sides to see them light up. This is a great purchase and great representation for little girls who look like this doll.

This beautiful doll was purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter. She has many Barbie dolls but this is the one she carries with her wherever she goes. It has stood up well to many baths with it's owner and I have never had a doll of this types hair stay in such good condition. I would definitely recommend this little beauty.

Bought this for my two year old since my four year old’s mermaid kept being in the middle of tug of war. The mermaid is very cute and lights up nicely. My little one loves it and plays with her in every bath time.

“Like New—Collectible” was the description. Granted, I knew that I was buying a damaged item, but I didn’t expect the entire box to be broken apart (top and bottom were not connected at all). My six year old probably won’t even notice as she tears into gifts on Christmas morning, but the description was not accurate. Glad I wasn’t looking for a collectible item. As a toy, she will be thrilled and I like the price.

I bought this mermaid doll for my granddaughter to replace one that had stopped working! She really loves this one even better then the last because of it’s unique tail which is made out of cloth and she also lived the light up features of the tail by squeezing the sides of the tail an added bonus for her is that the tail also moves in swimming motions! She has been thoroughly enjoying this mermaid doll!

This doll likes up to its description. My granddaughter lives I. She plays with it at bath time and it holds up well.
