Exactly what I was looking for
All around this storage unit does the job: looks great, holds vinyl records firm and organized, and is well made. Before I purchased this, I bought book shelves at Target and Wal-Mart and they never seem to last. The cheap wood would always bend in the middle of the shelf and was pretty much a waste of money. What I like about this storage unit is that instead of wooden shelves it has metal bars that are very sturdy. My only complaint about this purchase is the instructions. It's literally a piece of paper with brief instructions on how to assemble it. Maybe I'm spoiled from other things I've built in the past that had more guidance? It took me a little bit to figure it out, but once I did it became a speedy process. Word of warning: the box it comes in is insanely heavy! I nearly broke my back carrying it down the stairs; when it arrives make sure you have a friend to help you bring it in.This storage unit claims to hold over 500 vinyls, I currently have about 50 and am a frequent vinyl buyer so I'm looking forward to putting it to the test. I recommend this shelf to anyone who is serious about collecting vinyl, it's not the cheapest vinyl storage unit but it seems to be worth the money.

Hard to beat for the price, but shelf design is a bit of concern
I have 2 of these units and I will probably buy more as my collection grows. However, I recently noticed that the aluminum rod "shelving" is leaving indentations on the bottom of my album covers. Granted they are only small "dents" but when you consider the cost of new vinyl..needless to say, I would rather not have the dents. I am in the process of either having some 3/8" plywood measured and cut or using some plexi-glass to rest on top of the rods. Should be an easy enough fix."Why would I consider buying more in the future?" They hold a lot of records, I like the way the look (IMO they look much better than the plastic/wooden milk crate style units) and the price is reasonable. Now if Sefour redesigned these with solid shelves, I would definitely have to consider replacing these.

These are perfect for LPs
These are quality, sturdy, and durable. They arrived on time in good packaging. There was no damage or missing parts. The setup is easy enough, I would say be prepared to work a bit but the results are worth it. I did it alone and it took me about 2 1/2 hours to do two cabinets. The albums fit perfectly once you finish setting up. The white is a true white and they are a contemporary style so they fit in well with my decor. I'm glad I got them and recommend them to anyone who has a cache of LPs they need to display nicely whether you play them or not. Also, the way the bars hold the albums you don't put pressure on the record itself so you don't have to be concerned about long-term storage of them. Hope this helps!

Good storage unit
This isn't the easiest unit to put together and requires a minimum of two people to make it a smooth operation. However, it's sturdy and good looking when it's loaded up with LPs. It MAY hold up to 500, but they'd be packed pretty tightly.I bought two of them for my extensive collection and quite pleased over all.

Poor craftsmanship
Be forewarned, this product is a piece of crap. I bought five of em' and was only able to get two assembled. Had to return the others. Easy to put together, however, very shoddy craftsmanship. The plastic housing units that the pins screw into, were completely stripped on two of the side panels. I plowed through hoping it would connect snuggley with the cams, but, couldn't get them to fit. I still need a third unit, but, will keep looking for a better product.

just what i needed!
After (finally) deciding to move my records out of crates and into something that looked nicer and could hold many records i came upon this item. The price was decent and it looked good in the picture so i thought id give it a try. it showed up pretty fast and was quick and easy to assemble. Turns out i cant fit all of my stuff in there but im amazed at how many it holds and am considering getting another. worth it!

needed a place to hold my smallish vinyl collection
Works great for storage. It was actually a bit shorter than I had thought it was going to be (stands about 5ft from eye-balling). Holds my records adequately and doesn't look extremely cheap for an item you have to put together yourself.

Looks are a little deceiving but it works well
So... as you notice there are no straight on pictures of the unit... maybe as the shelves are actually just metal bars across it. It was easy to put together and still works pretty well though. But if you want shelves for your vinyl... not the unit for you!
