What country is this made in?

Kreg tool company is located in Huxley, Iowa. The box says "made in the USA of US and Imported Materials".Like so many things in this global economy  materials are from the US and other countries.  The product is made in the US.As a side note this is a fantastic tool!  I am a novice wood worker, I have been making my own outdoor furniture.  There is such a difference in the appearance of the furniture I have made using this tool and the pieces I made before I used it.I strongly recommend this product.

Question 2

how would i get a long piece of wood to position in the clamp, like an 8ft 2x4? I see short pieces stand up in the jig, would a long board be flimsy?

My workbench is in a workshop/shed I built.  It's roof is only about six feet above the bench's surface, so that's the limit on how long a board I can drill when the jig is clamped to the bench.  But the jig's clamp is pretty strong, so if you have enough room above your bench, I'd say you could easily drill a 10-ft 2x4, although you might be wise to steady it with the hand that isn't drilling.But why bother?  Why not just remove the central part of the jig and clamp it to your (horizontal) board?

I am needing a jig for 4(in.)x4(in.)x10(ft.) wood post. i realize this wouldn't work, but can anyone recommend one that can? thanks in advance!

Is it possible to use this kit with material thicker than 1-1/2 inches?  I ask because the site offers spacer blocks for user with "thicker" material.  It would be nice to use the kit on 2x4s for example.
