Tangram: The Ancient Chinese Shapes Game/Book and Board Game Paperback – January 1, 1976

Wow - I got this book as a 10th birthday present in 1977! Over the years I lost it. I am so glad to have found it on Amazon. Book includes over 1000 puzzles and includes a plastic set of tangram pieces. I remember hours of pre-internet fun with this set.

A small book, but packed with puzzles. Many puzzles. Most tangram books have the same puzzles. This one has all of that plus a lot of unusual & geometric puzzles. One of the chapters is on "counting & clarifying" tangrams in addition to a short history.

You may only find this as old out of print copies, but its by far the best tangram book out there. Brief history of the game and masses of puzzles to do, with solutions at the back. The only disappointment is this isnt available as an ebook for ereaders.

The best introduction to Tangram I have seen. Delighted to have been able to find a copy of this book. It really needs to be reprinted!

The book is in good condition, it would seem not to have been used a great deal so is very good value. I shall enjoy using it.

Contains an interesting history of the puzzle, 1600 examples of puzzles and, crucially, solutions, in a handy, portable paperback book. Almost endless puzzling fun.

The only thing that I received is a set of 7 pieces of black tangram. No book, no sample puzzle shape nothing
