LITTLE BLACK SAMBO A Little Golden Book Hardcover – January 1, 1948

Read this book as a little kid and always remembered it. Wanted to buy it before it is/was banned, like everything else.

I am a 74 year old woman who is thrilled to finally have her own copy of the Little Golden Book "Little Black Sambo" just like I had as a child. I have been looking for it for about ten years and finally found one that wasn't priced way beyond what I could afford. The condition is almost perfect. The delivery was fast. I recommend this vendor and I will do business with them in the future.

Book is great however condition of book is not!!!

I have searched for this exact book. They're are assorted covers but this is the one I remember from 60 years ago. When I received it, not only was the title just" Sambo" and a different picture on the cover, but it was not even in English. The description of the condition of the book was accurate but it failed to mention it was not the book pictured and was another language!

This is such a sweet story. My aunt read this to me when I was a small girl. When clearing out her home after she went to live in a care facility I asked for this one and only book. It reminds me of her and it is precious to me as I read it to my grandchildren.

I have heard that books that the Amazon gurus want to discourage, they will put an outrageous price on to squash sales.

My grandma and my older sister read this book to me all the time when I was growing up!!THOSE memories is what this book means to me!!There is no other underlying reason or meaning to me and so many others like me!!!I can’t change where my mother grew up!!She was so poor they had no shoes and SHE and her family picked cotton from sun up to sun down!!THIS BOOK IS PART OF MY CHILDHOOD!!!!

If it is so precious you wouldnt sell it!
