Q: how long does it last

I would estimate that it would last 1-2 days depending upon your activities. At home before the show, I used Jan Tana as the base. Since I was flying to the event and TSA limits what you can bring in your carry-on, I brought the Pro Tan 2 ounce to the show. I used it more as a touch up and it was applied for the Pre-judging in the morning and the evening show. It stayed on all day with a little additional where it rubbed off on the clothing during the day.

Q: I'm looking for a brown gel not an orange or golden color. Is this product brown?

Yes, a deep brown base. It has a very pleasant smell also.

Q: How does it differ from pro tan in the bottle should I get both or either or will work ?

Actually I found the Pro Tan gel to be superior to the bottle version. It appears to be thicker. The gel is a dark rich brown color and is easy and less messy to apply. It travels well and is less likely to spill. Great product for pre-show and last minute touch up.

How to Use: Use latex gloves to take a small amount on your palm. Thoroughly rub your skin right before the competition. Be careful not to hit with posing suits or bikini. Colors do not dry out, please do not wear clothes. It may rub off and fall off after wearing. Wipe with a towel after each use. For best results, apply directly over Pro Tan Overnight Competition Color.
