Presto 04867 PopLite® Plus Hot Air Popper

This popcorn machine pops super fast! less than 30 seconds. Warning that the plastic top does get very hot and can melt. Ours unfortunately melted inward and bubbled a bit when it was left unattended and still running, so the heat got too hot. But honestly a great popcorn machine and you get popcorn super fast.

And you may ask yourself... 'why would i spend $100 on a popcorn maker'well.. i have to say this is way better than our old one.faster, i like the on off switch. tried it with 3 diff popcorns.1. Orville Red ( worked best but Orville is American so boycotting him for now)2. PC purple popcorn. Very good. some kernels.. not the machines fault3. Uncle Bobs CANADIAN popcorn. worked great. big kernels. no burningI'd recommend even just to rid yourself of your old crappy maker.. this is faster , light and really impressed.

Il s'est brisé avec à peine 1 an d'utilisation. Vraiment très très déçu, surtout pour le prix. Il a arrêté d'un coup puis une fumée s'en est échappé. Ne fonctionne plus du tout.

Superb air popper. Let it heat up for about two minutes, and dump-in your corn kernels...taking care not to burn yourself, of course. The only caveat is when using smaller white kernel corn as some have complained about....the fan is strong enough to blow them right out...and I found a work-around for that, as we use small white corn (virtually hull-less) kernels....I found that if you EVER SO SLIGHTLY tip the popper back just a wee bit, it will retain those kernels for enough time to pop them before they build-up and then spill over....but you don't want it tipped back too far or you will burn the corn because it won't be able to clear the chamber. I used a very, VERY thin shim- a felt foot actually, one on each side of the front end. Works perfectly. Do so at your own risk. This is not a Presto-authorized modification and I assume no responsibility if you try this on your own. But this is what's worked for us.
