Great little LEDs - good quality slimline replacements for my old halogens so fitted my wall lights perfectly where some bulkier LED R7 replacement units would not. Light is a good 60W equivalent in my view - not too bright so it hurts your eyes when you look at the light, but more than enough light for bedroom reading. I'd say towards the colder side of warm, but still counts as a warm light colour. Great thing is these don't pump out any heat so safer just above my bed headboard.

These were purchased to replace halogen versions of the 78mm R7S which seemed to fail with monotonous regularity and were dim. They meet their stated specs but they do not seem to be any brighter which is a disappointment.Since writing the above, I’ve put this in an outside security light. It’s giving a lot of light for a very small wattage and am satisfied.

Installed these on 2 outside lights. They replaced 2 similar units that have been used for a few years and their output is now not good. Both flashed a few times and failed when switched on. There are some arcing marks around some of the LEDs. Very annoying as the lights are hard to get to.

We bought it to save energy and planet :-). We have lamp with changeable brightness but if we set in on higher brightness it's flickering that is driving us mad..I'm not sure were is the problem but every LED bulb we've bought in UK is flickering. . We have never had that problem in country of my origin..

I used one led lamp in a Westinghouse Bandan ceiling fan, to replace an 80w R7s. The fan is 3m up and has a white glass lamp cover. I found the light from the led lamp not bright enough and had to refit the original R7s. I used the other led lamp in an exterior flood light fitting with clear glass. It works well in this location because it provides enough light for access and not too much to interfere with my neighbour.

These bulbs fit in lamps which other similar replacement bulbs do not fit. I have had to return several other LED bulbs designed to fit in place of traditional replacements. These LED replacements fit without a problem. Thankfully I no longer have to redecorate the whole upstairs in my house if I had to remove the old lamps. So a very useful size.

I liked R7S theLED Bulb 78 mm 5W Double Ended Linear Reflector Lamp Azhien, which is good for my portable work lamp as its more robust than the filament tubes which fail with annoying regularity. I've used the R7S LED bulb now for a while without a failure, its not quite as bright as the halogen filament tubes but is lasting much longer as it is more robust and economical with the electricity

Very easy to fit and pleased I managed to get an LED bulb for my light fittings. The only downside is they are not a very bright bulb and when they are on it feels like someone has slightly dimmed the lights. No good for reading by.
