Why is the bottom leaking?

Because the water is too full. When the water capacity exceeds the maximum 1.7L, the upper steam port is covered with water,and the water will flow to the bottom along the steam port,and finally flow from the gap.It is recommended not to exceed 1.7L.

Is the body of the kettle heat-proof?

The surface temperature of the kettle will rise when it is working. Therefore, please do not touch the body of the kettle while it is working and after the water is boiling. But the handle is heat resistant.

Why does limescale appear after use?

That is because the Caco3, Mg (OH)2 will be formed when water is heated to a certain temperature, this is the normal phenomenon after the use of stainless steel kettle.

What are the materials in contact with the water?

The interior of the SUSTEAS electric kettle is made of 18/8 stainless steel (including spout and lid), all water-exposed plastic components are devoid of Bisphenol A (BPA).
