Very detailed and informative book that helped me tell my 5 and 7 year old that we're having a baby. A little too long and drawn out for my 5 year old so she was being silly eventually and wouldnt pay attention but it made my 7 year old ask more questions so she learned a lot and couldn't stop talking about it. She even carried the book around a couple days to read it and strike up more conversation about the pregnancy. Awesome book to have but I think kids under 5 would be easily bored and confused by it. Words like "sperm" and "vagina" popped up and my husband and I gave each other a shocked look as my daughter read on. I don't think we were ready to discuss those type of details but it was educational none the less.

My son is almost 6 and asking lots of questions about where babies come from etc. Of course, I want to be honest with him BUT at 5 years old, he does not need to know every detail of how I got pregnant. This book satisfied his curiosity, answered his questions and was informative without being TOO informative.
