Great!
I am absolutely impressed with this Boost Cream with Azelaic Acid! It has become a game-changer in my skincare routine. From the very first application, I noticed how lightweight and fast-absorbing it is, making it perfect for both morning and evening use.One of the standout benefits of this cream is how well it helps with redness and uneven skin tone. I struggle with occasional breakouts and mild rosacea, and after just a few weeks of use, my skin looks much calmer and more even. The azelaic acid works wonders at reducing inflammation, while also gently brightening my complexion.I also love that this cream provides great hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. It layers beautifully under makeup and doesn’t cause pilling, which is a huge plus for me. My skin feels smooth, soft, and well-balanced throughout the day.Another thing I appreciate is that it’s non-irritating—even for sensitive skin. Many active ingredients can be too harsh, but this cream is gentle yet effective, making it suitable for daily use.Overall, this is a must-have for anyone dealing with redness, acne-prone skin, or dullness. It’s a fantastic product that truly delivers results, and I will definitely keep repurchasing it! Highly recommend!

It applies very easily and absorbs quickly
Don’t use too much or it will irritate your skin. Otherwise it improves the clarity of my skin.

Works great and smells satisfying, but kind of expensive
Very effective for redness and great for a gentle (at least as gentle as you can get) chemical exfoliant for acne or hyperpigmentation. It feels pretty great and smells medical/clean/chemically? which I don't know if I'm weird, but I like and doesn't peel unlike many other azelaic acids. Only problem is that you get a very small tube for 40 dollars and while it would be great if you used it for spot treating, if you use it on a lot of the face like me for my T-zone, it is pretty expensive. I used it sparingly (like once a week) and I'm almost out in about 4 months.

My answer
This cleared my redness in four days, using twice a day. First time user. I definitely recommend.

Incredible.
I’ve spent the last 30 years of my 42 on this planet frantically covering up my skin. Going without makeup or even going with something as light as a BB product was unfathomable to me. I have it all: rosacea, large pores, acne, ruddy undertones… I’m Polish and Spanish, so I’m really pale but my face is really red. THIS STUFF… changed all of that. I saw someone on Reddit recommend this for rosacea, and after growing tired of seeing a tomato in the mirror every time I took my makeup off, I tried this. Within one day? A small difference. Within two weeks? I’m ready to go without foundation. For real. The photo I’m attaching is after 10 days, with a tiny bit of tinted moisturizer and blush over my skin. A miracle. I wish I could go back in time and give this stuff to teenaged me.

Has Potential…
I feel like this product has potential. I’ve used it for 3 days and it didn’t break out my skin. However, it made my skin feel like it was burning and it stings. I wanted to wait at least a week to see if the feeling would subside but it’s uncomfortable. I think it may be too strong for my skin.

I’m so glad I found this product. It very slowly transformed my skin in the best way.
I have acne. It’s mild now. four months ago (and for the last two years before that), my face was a swollen, blotchy mess much of the time. Then I started using this, and I took a photo of my face every day for all that time to see the progress, because here’s the thing about azelaic acid: It can behave like a (safe, non-resistance-forming) antibiotic for your skin, but it is very slow to show results. As I review my photos, I can see that for about two months of using this I didn’t really have a noticeable improvement. But then, after that, I can see a gradual improvement. By month four, my skin is so much better that I don’t think I’ll ever stop using this. No, my skin isn’t perfect. I have redness on my nose that appears to have resulted from acne, and I still get small zits here and there, but my days of deep, swollen, achy, itchy zits that last for weeks are gone. I haven’t had one like that in well, about two or three months. If you’re considering getting this, but you’re put off by the price, I get you. I thought so too. But this bottle lasts about two months if you use it twice a day, because you really don’t use a lot. So it isn’t as bad as it seems.I use this product as the very last in my night time skin routine — and I use it anywhere I can feel I will have a zit, anywhere I have one, and where I’ve recently had one — but I also just put a thin amount in the places I know have a tendency to breakout.I also use it in the morning, but then only a very small amount beneath sunscreen and makeup. It has a tendency to pill unfortunately, so you’ll need to be particularly careful with it. In the daytime use an extra tiny little bit of it. Moisturize the areas it will be on extra, let the moisturizer sink in, apply this, and gently pat products on top, don’t rub. For real, don’t rub or it’ll come right off (you can rub it in when applying it, just not once its been on your skin for more than about a minute). It can be a bit itchy. In my case its really only itchy when its on too thickly. This also gets better over time.I’ve found other spot treatments to be too harsh and drying, and/or not work well. This isn’t the fastest spot treatment, but if you can be patient, this is just awesome.

Not good for sensitive skin
I gave this product a chance because my skin has done well before using azelaic acid and salicylic acid separately. I tried this product to see if it would help relieve my acne and lighten my PIE but it instead broke me out with large, painful cystic acne. I think the combination of mixing the 2 acids into one product irritated my skin. This reaction was only after one use. I was planning to use it again to see if it subsided, but after reading the reviews on the Paula’s Choice website, it seems like this is a common side effect for some people, and using it repeatedly only makes it worse. I won’t be using it again unfortunately and will go back to using these 2 acids separately.
