Review: Love it! Small but love it! - I bought this in March 2025. I have used it quite a bit till July but had surgery and am going to the beach and was getting it ready for the beach and its 97% charged. I dont remember charging it before July because I remembered it didn't need it. Well it still doesn't need it. Ive used it here and there for a few minutes but nothing g big since July but still even if I charged it before July you'd think it would be alot less charge left. The flashlight is small! If I didn't have the charger case I'd have lost it by now. It throws alot of light! I do prefer a zoom light but this does a great job. I like it for the beach, cabin, camping and slug hunting so its pretty versatile. It does get hot! The magnet it really strong had to clean out the washing machine pump and stuff was stuck and I put this on the washing machine and it stayed! I got it on sale! It was about 70ish I wouldn't have paid more for it. Even though I love my olight flashlights I try and stay under 50 so this was a splurge for me and I'm glad I did! I'd pay that again for it! I personally don't need the proximity sensor it kind of irritates me but thats really the only thing I don't like about it. Need to read manual to see if I can turn it off. There are so many different options I know I haven't even remembered them all. I just know how to turn it on. First month I was disappointed because I didn't think the bright was 1300 lumens but after I read the directions WOW!
Review: Great Compact Flashlight - I’ve been really impressed with the OLIGHT Baton 4 Premium Edition. For an EDC flashlight, it strikes an excellent balance between size, weight, and performance. The first thing that stands out is how compact and lightweight it is—it easily disappears in a pocket but still feels solid and well-built. Despite the small size, the brightness is outstanding. The 1300-lumen output is more than enough for everyday use and even punches above its class when you really need to light up a space. The beam is clean and powerful, with good throw for such a small light. It’s genuinely surprising how much performance OLIGHT packed into this form factor. It’s also great for walking the dog at night—the brightness and beam distance make it easy to see clearly and feel confident in darker areas. A feature I really appreciate is the built-in charge indicator on the light. It makes it easy to quickly check battery status without guessing, which is especially useful for something you rely on regularly. The Type-C charging case is also a nice touch for convenience and portability. Even the packaging stands out—it feels very high-end, much like Apple-style packaging, which makes the overall experience feel more premium right out of the box. Overall, this is a great EDC flashlight—small, lightweight, and extremely bright, with thoughtful features that make it practical for everyday carry. Highly recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two Years Later and Still the Ultimate EDC Flashlight Kit
*by R***Z on May 24, 2025*

As someone who’s been using OLIGHT products for years, I can confidently say the OLIGHT Baton 4 Premium Edition has been one of the smartest gear purchases I’ve made. I’ve had it for close to two years now, and it’s held up flawlessly—both in performance and durability. Between the flashlight itself and the included charging case, this is hands down one of the best EDC light setups available. ⸻ Everyday Functionality and Power At 1,300 lumens, this little guy packs a serious punch. It’s compact enough to carry in your pocket daily, but bright enough to handle just about any task—whether it’s lighting up a dark trail, navigating a blackout, or checking under the hood of your car. The beam is clean, with a great mix of throw and flood, and it’s easy to cycle through brightness levels depending on your needs. The interface is simple and intuitive, and the moonlight mode is perfect for middle-of-the-night situations when you don’t want to blind yourself or others. ⸻ The Charging Case: Game-Changer The charging case is what really sets the Premium Edition apart. Not only does it store the Baton 4 securely, but it also charges it on the go multiple times. I’ve used it while traveling, camping, and on the job—having a power bank built specifically for your flashlight is just plain smart. It’s well-designed, easy to use, and surprisingly compact. USB-C charging means it’s fast and compatible with all the other modern devices I carry, so I never have to worry about finding a special cable. ⸻ Build Quality and Reliability This flashlight, like every OLIGHT I’ve used, is built to last. After two years of constant use—including drops, weather, dust, and the usual EDC abuse—it still works like the day I got it. The anodized finish holds up well, the magnetic tail cap is convenient for hands-free work, and the side switch is responsive but not overly sensitive. The light has an IPX8 waterproof rating and a rugged aluminum body, and I’ve tested both plenty. Whether I’m in the rain, on a trail, or just using it around the house, I never have to second-guess whether it’ll perform. ⸻ Pros: • Super bright (1,300 lumens) in a compact body • Charging case extends battery life and adds serious convenience • USB-C charging for both the case and the light • Durable, waterproof, and built to handle everyday abuse • Magnetic base for hands-free use • Still works perfectly after nearly two years of use • Premium feel with practical features for real-world use Cons: • The charging case adds a little bulk to your carry (but it’s worth it) • Premium price—but justified by the value and long-term reliability ⸻ Final Thoughts The OLIGHT Baton 4 Premium Edition is everything I want in an EDC flashlight: compact, powerful, and packed with features that actually make my life easier. After two years of use, it’s proven itself to be more than just a flashlight—it’s a reliable companion that I trust day in and day out. If you’re someone who values quality, smart design, and lasting performance, this is a no-brainer. OLIGHT knocked it out of the park with this one.
