Good multitask printer
Arrived in a timely fashion. Not too complicated to set up and so far works very satisfactorily. A good choice for printer that can print, copy and scan.

I regret buying it.
This is the worst printer I've ever had. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It jams every few files I print. I'm not even printing crazy file sizes either; my document can be a few pages long, and it will error out on the first one. And these jams are not due to the quality of paper I am using. In addition to the constant paper jams, I've had cartridge errors, and once when the printer didn't even realize it was glitching. It kept warping, shifting, and erasing portions of the documents I was printing. After about an hour of trial and error (to confirm that it was indeed the printer and not my laptop, the file, or the connection) I had to do a couple hard reboots to get it to work. The worst part is that I was charged for those failed attempts at printing my document because it didn't even realize it was failing. The subscription fee is also straight up predatory. It's not clear that you CANNOT opt out of the printing subscription, nor that the printer will refuse to print anything and lock up after your "free trial" is over. It's not a trial period if you do not have the option of cancelling after the trial period is over. This is honestly very disappointing because I used to be a loyal HP user. All of my printers growing up were HP, and now I've completely lost trust. It takes a lot for me to write a product review, and this one was bad enough for me to want to warn others not to buy it. And this isn't for money; I had a few documents I needed to print, and then a few months later when I needed to print more, all of these problems became apparent; but it was well after the return period ended. I will be buying a new printer from another brand and have accepted that I wasted money on trash. Yes, it was a cheap printer, and things like its slow printing speed was acceptable, but it's performance was so much worse than what I was expecting from an HP product. Absolutely terrible. Also do not rely on the AI check marks when looking at the product reviews. Do not make the same mistake I did. I literally did not mention anything about the duplex printing, paper capacity, or scanning, and somehow the AI interpretted it as a positive.

Rock solid wireless printing, FINALLY!
This printer has been a great upgrade for my home office. The wireless connection is excellent—I’m able to print seamlessly from all of my devices, including my iPhone, Windows PC and laptop, Mac Mini, and MacBook Air. Setup was straightforward, and once connected, it just works. No dropped connections, no re-adding the printer, and no headaches switching between devices. Print quality is sharp and professional for both color and black-and-white documents, and duplex printing works smoothly. The automatic document feeder is a big time-saver for scanning and copying multi-page documents, which I use often. The printer is fast, quiet, and feels well-built. I also appreciate how well it integrates with mobile printing—being able to send a document from my phone and have it print immediately is incredibly convenient. Overall, this is a reliable, versatile all-in-one printer that handles a mixed Apple and Windows environment with ease. Highly recommended for a home office setup with multiple devices.

Overall a decent printer but could be better
Overall the printer works well. The printer is quiet which is great but it is also larger than expected. Doesn't scan double sided, which we were looking for. Frustrating that it didn't come with the USB B to USB A connection to be able to have direct connection to the computer. Over it is a good printer but could be even better if it came with the cables.

Great printer for the money
Needed to replace my 10 yr old printer that bit the dust - did quite a bit of research and decided this printer would meet my needs, had pretty high ratings and price was right. Set up was pretty easy tho i did have a friend who is more tech savy than me help me set it up. I you are not good with tech stuff and find it difficult to navigate files and downloads it may be tricky for you. I signed up for the pre-paid ink program as its free for 3 months - may drop after that as i really don't print that much, I print mostly in black and I received a large black ink cartridge as part of the ink program so may not need much more for quite a while. Have had for about a month and have printed 4 or 5 times with it - print quality is good; it prints fast and has copy and scan features which I wanted. For the money don't think you can beat it.

The one I have is an 8120 and I havent been able to get a copy for my self as of this date. however some other friends have and I really do need it, but will not work for me. I need a simple one. Can I send back? If so I need a shiping box. As you an tell I do purchase a lot and have been happy with all except this copier. I just need a simple one tough Would you consider sending me a box to return this one in, as I am not happy at all., and can I get a l00d% refund.?

Worst HP Printer on the Planet
I am a huge HP printer fan. It's all I have ever bought. This one sucks. Software app. You need to download the HP app on your phone to run it. Printer ink upsell. They tried to lock you into a subscription when you fire up the printer. Not just once but again and again when you install the software. Printer ink compatibility. Third-party vendors make cheaper ink which is technically compatible with this machine. I have always bought ink elsewhere. But this printer scans the ink barcode and will not print with these cartridges. It will only print with HP cartridges. Printer ink runs out fast. I literally bought this printer about six months ago and have used it for exactly one print job, so probably 20 pages. It already shows two out of four of the cartridges are out of ink and need to be replaced. In the past my HP cartridges have lasted something like 500–1000 pages. Buying a new pack of cartridges cost me another $95. Slow print time. I don't print that often; probably once every 2 months. But when I print, the printer takes about 3 minutes to begin printing the first page. Not completing the job. Just starting. I don't know what's going on here because my older HP printers would start printing within 10 seconds or so. I've been buying HP desk jets for 20 years. I think I'm done though. Worst printer I've ever used.

Simply and efficient!
Nice printer, easy set up, quality is great, it looks great and so far, ink hasn’t been an issue… it checks off all the boxes for an affordable printer that’s versatile.
