Time will tell, however, how long their life is. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Correct mantles for loxon Aladdin lamps. *by M***M on 28 November 2021* Last bought this in 2013 since when they have doubled in price, now 20 quid each! Aladdin lamps burn with a very hot blue flame which leaves little smell from combustion products but gives hardly any light so the mantle glows white hot and emits the light instead and acts as an after-burner to clean up any missed combustion products, result is an odourless very bright lamp.
