I will start this review by noting that I have been training in martial arts for over 40 years and have experience with many brands of punching/kicking bags. Today, I just received my Outslayer 80 Lb. heavy bag for my home dojo. Shipping was prompt and efficient, and the product arrived via FedX in perfect condition. The bag shipped in a reinforced vinyl cover, with a zipper, so it can be re-used for storage or transport. The bag's casing and fill are excellent! The casing appears thick and durable, with a semi-smooth finish that's not too slick or too coarse, and the stitching is tight. The "no sand" fill is packed consistently and densely throughout, and the bag is appropriately firm, cylindrical, and balanced (it appears firm enough that I think it will "punch-in" nicely). The top and bottom D-rings (I ordered mine with the optional bottom D-ring) are seriously heavy-duty. The straps are thick with reinforced stitching throughout, and include a reinforcing band around the circumference of the bag at the attachment points. This is a high-quality heavy bag, made in the USA, at very fair price. I look forward to using it for many challenging workouts. While I just received the bag today, I am confident it will take a beating and deliver years of reliable service and satisfaction. If you are researching heavy bags for your gym or dojo, I would put Outslayer on your list.

This heavy bag is awesome. Our old Everlast one wore out after about a year's use when the thin fabric straps holding it to the D-rings gave out and snapped in the heat of our garage. The straps on this one are solid and made from the same reinforced material that the whole bag is made of. The D-rings are about 3x thicker than the ones on the old Everlast. And I can tell that this thing is going to last for a long long time.

I am very satisfied with my purchase even though both the bag and stand were a bit expensive. What good is it if it’s cheap but doesn’t last long. Both the bag and stand looks really solid and would last for years. I used a standing heavy bag before but it has given me problems like tendonitis in my elbows, that is why I decided to switch to a hanging bag. The bag feels so good to punch and I’ve noticed that it doesn’t cause me elbow pains anymore. Thanks Outslayer!

You could say I'm new to this because the only other punching bag I ever used (temporarily) was an Everlast 60 lbs bag, and that was 10 years ago. This 80 lbs Outslayer bag is far FAR better than that old one I remember. It seems to be professional grade, as advertised. Also, I was worried that 80 lbs wouldn't be enough for me (I weight 160 lbs and I can punch and kick hard), but it was perfect for me. This bag feels extremely solid (like a quality heavy bag should) but it is still not too hard, so that you won't hurt your legs or fists, if you kick it or punch it with some power. And yes, it works well for kicking too (that was definitely a surprise!). I hung the bag on one of those $100 heavy bag stands, using a heavy duty string and two heavy duty carabiners (as recommended to hang heavy bags). Overall, the setup worked perfect for me. It does make some noise if you punch too much or too hard (that's the only negative I can think of) but it's not as bad as I thought it would be noise-wise. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

The Outslayer 80 lb Heavy Bag lives up to all the great reviews. Delivery of bag arrived in safe canvas outer canvas casing which I still use to cover bag as mine hangs under an outdoor awning out of the weather. The bag is built tough with large rings for easy hanging. I also have the lower ring which I attach to an Outslayer sand bag to keep it from swinging freely. I use this bag for exercise and stress release and I have no complaints. I highly recommend Outslayer over competitors as I've owned other brands in years past and the competition just doesn't keep up. Others can really result in hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder pain whereas Outslayer has a much better distribution of stuffing which distributes the impacts dissipating unnecessary pain. 5 Stars from me for Outslayer.
