Exactly what I was looking for. Some say they come with glass, other say they don't. Mine did. One bulb was dim, but I'll accept that out of 20. All the overhead lighting in my apt. is in the ceiling (office, bathrooms, living room, kitchen) and these bulbs are perfect. And they last forever. Will definitely order again.

Don't believe it. What I got is 36º. I ordered these because it said 60º in the description. I'll try one anyway but am highly irritated.Follow up: Unfortunately, I can't give it a 1/2 star. I've had these bulbs for a year and am changing them all out today with fresher ones as I contemplate whose bulbs to try next. These bulb will dim SIGNIFICANTLY within 2 months. I replaced bulbs in half my studio on Feb 26, 2015 and those bulbs are now 2 stops dimmer than whats going in today. Typically I would have faith in anything made in Germany, especially since Osram makes the bulb for my high-end film scanner. The disappointment is severe. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

What I like most about these bulbs is their wide angle of illumination. I use them in ceiling fixtures and I get a rather even illumination on the floor.
