When these perfectly textured delights are gone make sure to add fresh hot peppers of your choice to the jar. Slice or puncture jalapeños, ghost peppers, Carolina reapers, or whatever you have that doesn't clash with garlic and vinegar. Wait only a few days and you will be amazed. I would buy just their brine if they sold it separately. You can add the peppers when you still have pickles left if you want a pickle with a slight kick (literally overnight).My garden produces peppers that vary widely in heat. Literally same plant peppers can be extremely hot or bland. This brine balances them in a couple of days. They stay crunchy, gain garlicky goodness, and keep all winter. Note: KEEP REFRIGERATED.

crisp, crunchy, sour - everything that a pickle should be. a required accompaniment for any sandwich. these are a bit on the expensive side, for pickles - but you get what you pay for.
