how exactly does the exchange program work

Keep the box your 2 cylinders come in. When they are empty return the cylinders in that box. Drinkmate has a return postage free sticker you download and attach to the box. The Drinkmate gives you an $18 credit on Amazon against your order.

What are the dimensions of the cylinders? Are they the same size as the sodastream 60 liter co2 bottles: 12"x2"x2"?

The 60ml Drinkmate and Soadstream cyliners are the same size and according to the iDrink website (DrinkMate) they are interchangeable.

Do these cannisters have an expiry date?

Yes. It is close to two year expiration date. I bought 7/2019 and they expired 4/2021. Although I have continued to use them until I just finally ordered a couple of new ones.

Can this item be shipped by air? Someone needs to mail it to me in a different country...
