The opening is 2.5" from the top/edge closest to it and it is approx 5" in diameter. The plastic cover for the legs is open at the top so it might collect water and bits of food and would need to cleaned regularly.

I liked the price & the quality....of course, the test of time will tell the reality ~ & if it fails, I will advise. But, this is a great rack for the money!

I recently remodeled my kitchen and got a great big beautiful rectangular stainless "Bonke" sink. It needed a grid in the bottom. This fit perfectly.. It looks great and works well as a dish drainer for a few hand washed dishes. The price is right and the quality appears excellent...so far..

I measured our kitchen sink planning on getting one of these so my dishes do not sit directly on the bottom. The metal bottom grid should be a bit smaller than the actual sink’s measurements so it fits perfectly. This bottom grid arrived on time, and it is as the description says. So yes, we are very happy with our purchase. A little side note: When you receive it, turn it upside down and fill the gap around the black rubber feet with super glue (my favorite is Gorilla glue). This will stop water from getting inside to grow mildew.

I love this. It hides and prevents any scratching. I missed having a split sink being able to have a dry side for clean stuff or food you don’t want to get wet. This allows you to have something in the sink and run water without getting it wet.

Easy to install and quality is great.
