Review: This stuff works - I was skeptical to be honest but this tries really works well it does take several light coats layered to get the right effect if it still looks like aluminum give it another 1 or 2 it will chrome up

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can Spaz Stix paints be used on Metal & can they be brushed on or only airbrushed? I want to paint in detail then clear-coat a small stainless item.**
A: I would lightly sand.maybe steel wool.yes it will bond.but you will have to spray with air gun.if you try to brush it will not look even

**Q: What to use for cleanup**
A: Because it's acrylic, you can start with windex because it contains amonia...., or just use straight household amonia. ... for faster clean up. .,  lacquer thinner.

**Q: Is this paint waterproof**
A: It's lacquer paint I would say if you seal it with rustoleum or krylon clear coat lacquer don't spray acrylic paint over lacquer

**Q: So this must be used with an air gun or air brush?  Will this work out well covering scrathes on engine gaurds ?**
A: The paint is pre-thinned for use in an airbrush. I assume you intend to apply it to the scratches using a brush, and while I would expect it to work fine, it will be runny and might take more coats than normal.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great backer for Ultimate Mirror Chrome

My fiance and I bought this and the Ultimate Mirror Chrome to paint Daft Punk helmets for Halloween. We bought an inexpensive paint gun to paint the helmets rather than using an airbrush, because using an airbrush on such a large object would have been a bit meticulous. The paint worked great in the gun and we used about three bottles to fully cover the helmets. The backer gave the chrome a deep look and I doubt it would have worked without it. We had no problem getting the paint to stick to the plastic helmets after we sanded them down and put a clear coat on them even though the paint is meant for RC cars.
