Bought as a replacement for Sungator spigot
Bought a sungator spigot just like this and it froze and busted. No contact from seller so I bought this sharkbite one. Fit great. Whole installation took 3 minutes.

Awesome product, never want to do it again
Dang, what a sillcock! This bad boy is super simple to install. Drill a hole, toss it in, screw in your set screws and bam! Your sousing work is done. Crawl under your house and dodge spiderwebs, slugs and fend off a raccoon that’s decided your crawl space the best home for it and scurry over to your sillcock. Toss some 1/2” pex in the shark bite and your done with that. Find your water line, cut it, get soaked by water, remember you never shut your water off before you decided to tackle this home do list item. After you get the water shut off decide that you need a beer, get yelled at for getting the floor in the house wet and get back under the house. Right like crazy to crimp pex onto a t fitting and on the last crimp shift to the side and make a bad connection. Drink another beer and then make your way to the hardware store and she’ll out $10 for a shark bite t. Get strange looks from everyone in the store because you look like you crawled out of a mud hole and guess what, you did. Get home drink another beer finish the job, evacuate the raccoon and it’s pups, close up your crawl space door, go to take a shower and realize your water is still off. Put sopping wet muddy clothes back on that were hard enough to take off, turn that water back on bare footed, step on a sharp rock, grab another beer and finally wash yourself off. 2 hours and it’s all done.

I wish my house came with these
Easy to install and lots of product length for my specific needs. It is a bit pricey but still worth the investment. I have had this in my rental home for 5 years now and have had no issues. It also looks pretty cool.

quick replacement
Outside bib froze so I decided to replace it with a frost free. The worst part of the installation was crawling under the house. My piping is PEX so the installation was very easy. I used a PVC piping cutter to cut the PEX so I got a clean, even end.

So nice to do my repair without the need to solder!
I like the fact that this hosebib has sharkbite connection, eliminating the need to solder. I was working in my crawlspace to repair freeze damage, and the sharkbite connector made the job so much easier!

Did the trick
Replaced an outdoor sillcock with this new one. Worked like a charm and easy install. This brand is a bit pricier but it would seem that is the price of convenience.

Its an easy install for sure.
I ordered two of the 15" Sharkbite frost free sillcocks (what a brutal name). As far as the install goes they are stupid easy. The surprising missing link...nowhere on the instruction sheet does it say what size of hole is required to slide that sucker into. I'll save you the trouble and say use a 1-1/4" bit. I saw one other mention of 1-1/8" by another person but other than that... nothing else on the internet. Nothing on SB's site either. Its like a KFC secret or something. But once you get past that you're on easy street. I was using pex so other than me pre-marking said pex so that I knew I was pushed in enough it was a smooth install. Its too bad that these taps aren't a 1/4 turn style system. The few moving parts the better. I can't find anyone local in central Alberta that sells replacement parts so crossing my finger that this these things last several years. $68ea isn't exactly cheap if they don't have longevity.

Works as expected.
The item works well and as expected, winter will tell if it doesn't leak after I drain the outdoor pipes. If there was a weakpoint to this it would be that the handle is hard to grip and turn on/off. And it seems to reduce the flow a little bit. But this might be standard across all tools like this. The fit and finish and quality of the metal work was good and everything was the same size as advertized.
