I wish I had bought these sooner!
Since the early days of my career in radio, I've always used Sony MDR-7506s. It's the industry standard for good reason. I put these to use daily, and they suffered a bit of abuse on occasion, but they always performed extremely well. When the earpads on my first pair of cans started to crumble away, I was sad to have to retire them after 12 years of service. (This was back in 2003 and getting new earpads wasn't as simple as ordering from an online shop.) I ended up buying a new pair of 7506 headphones.Since then, I retired from radio and started my own full-time voice over business. Doing VO doesn't cause as much wear and tear on my headphones, so the earpads on the new set have held up for about 19 years. However, when they started to flake and leave little bits of black all over the place, I decided to see if I could find a fix. There were a lot of brands out there so the reviews really drove my decision to purchase these. I also loved the color options. Torn between a classic look or something more unique, I opted for the blue pads to compliment the label on the side of my headphones.I had never replaced earpads before and had heard different reviews on the difficulty and effort involved. I was expecting the worst, but after watching a YouTube video, I was surprised at how simple it was. After removing the old earpads, I put a new earpad over the entire cup of the headphones and then gently used a butter knife to guide and tuck the outer elastic edge back into the groove - little by little. Once I got the hang of it, the job went pretty fast. I had both of them on in under 10 minutes and they fit perfectly.I've had these for several weeks now and I can say they've held up well so far. I love the color! It really makes them pop and look distinctive. Even more, I'm amazed at how comfortable these are! They are easily better than the original Sony earpads. They seem to cup the ear better and, as a result, I've noticed a big difference in sound quality. Also, though they're not meant to be noise canceling, they do a great job of blocking out external sound.I'm really happy with these earpads and am so excited to be able to continue using my 7506s! I'm going to try to find my original 7506s and buy a pair of these earpads in red so I can bring those headphones back to life, too!

Outstanding replacement earpads
Noise Cancellation: Not significantly noticeable compared to original pads.Ease to install: Not easy, I'd say but doable with a little patience. Don't be afraid to stretch them.Comfort: Outstanding. Much cooler than the original and just sit nicely on the head. Best feature.I highly recommend these as I have them on my Sony MDR 7506 Pro's. Original pads just made my head sweat after a short time. These very affordable replacements are giving me hours of cool comfort. The bit of frustration it took getting them installed was very well worth the effort.

Excellent look and feel
These were so easy to install. The material is much better quality than the ear pads my Sony headset came with. They are very comfortable and afford just a bit more passive noise reduction making the already great headphones even better! I'm looking forward to getting years of use out of these.

Pretty Sweet -- And They Look GREAT
I never thought about getting earpads that were different colors than the black my MDR-7506's came with, but once I saw these, I thought they looked pretty cool and I could use some new pads, so why not?The truth is, they look spectacular. Against the matte black of the headphones, they really stand out. It really ought to help since where I work (in radio) almost everyone has the exact same headphones, and everyone keeps borrowing mine, and I keep telling them not to...and their excuse is always they didn't know which were mine and which weren't. They no longer have this excuse now.I read at least one review where the claim was made that the earpads made his headphones sound noticeably better. I certainly haven't been able to notice any difference in audio quality, and cannot imagine why they would considering the previous pair I had were already good. The noise isolation is about on par with the pads that come with the Sony's (which are the ONLY things about the 7506's that is sub-par). They cover your entire ear and that helps to isolate the sound already fairly well. The comfort factor is about the same as what usually comes with the cans when you buy them brand new. They are comfortable anyway, so changing it up would be a huge mistake. Memory foam makes a difference, especially if you happen to wear your headphones for extended periods of time (like I do when I'm live on-air for 4 hours straight). Not sure I'd say they are especially extra comfortable, but they work pretty well for extended listening without any issues.Installation is a breeze. I hate to admit this, but I had no idea the pads were even replaceable until after I had been using my headphones for close to 5 years. I immediately bought a new pair and installed them straight away. They don't look like they are easily replaceable, but that's because of how well designed they are. I have to say having replaced them before meant doing it this time went way smoother. If you're curious, there are how-to video's on YouTube that'll show you step-by-step how to do it with the Sony's in particular, so you are less likely to have any issues. Trust me, if I can do it, you can, too.All in all I am very happy with my purchase and next time, will probably go with the aqua green colored ones (unless they come out with more colors between now and then). Great purchase!

They fit a bit snug, but once on, they are outstanding.
They are definitely on the snug side when installing them, so be patient. After that, they are very comfortable, and look really good (I got the red ones). They are definitely worth the investment in extending the life of my Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

Replace your Sony MDR-7506 pads RIGHT NOW
I can't recommend these enough. The difference between these and the default ones for my headphones (MDR-7506) is night and day.I bought my pair second hand, so the pads were already tearing, but I finally decided to was time to replace them. When I saw the 30 dollar price tag I almost passed up on these, but the Teal colour was what sold me.I never expected them to be this comfortable or this easy to install. If you have the extra cash to get these they will 100% be a noticeable difference in comfort and quality. Since the synthetic leather on these are pretty durable and stretch a good amount it was easier for me to install these than the videos on YouTube had me expecting. If you wear your headphones a lot this purchase is honestly a no-brainer. I probably sound like a bot with how much I'm praising these, but they legit made my weekend.*PS* The teal is so vibrant and beautiful that I cant imagine buying the other colours for the same price.

Great price and quality
I bought these to replace original Sony ear pads on my MDR V6 and my MDR 7506 (which always fall apart!) and look MUCH better quality than the original Sony ones. Very comfy and easy to fit. Turn inside out first then snap back over the headphones. once in place pull the skirt of the ear pad carefully till it snaps down into the groove. I then used a guitar plectrum to make sure the skirt was full pressed into the groove all round. I also bought the real leather version of these which were also brilliant (even more comfy but a tad more expensive - worth it though).

Excelentes!
