UPDATE: new kit has two PRP tubes instead of (1) for PRF - great kit!The extra tube w/ no liquid is for balancing & one tube is for PRP & the other PRF the only difference is the amount of separation gel.Great kit though just purchased another one

Not for a novice. This is an excellent kit for making PRP, but you need to know what your doing. I should have taken a picture of my blood/platelets, they were beautiful.

The stuff is not taking any blood, waste of money and time

This kit is pretty nice and easy to use. I used it performing a microneedling and PRP procedure. It’s very simple and convenient. The LP needle is perfect for drawing the plasma deep into the tube without contaminating the solution with the other blood parts. I did read reviews that said there wasn’t enough suction in the blood tubes. Because I read this, I drew an extra 5-6 mls of air out with a 27g. Even with that, only one tube filled to the top. The second tube only filled about 6mls. Which tells me it didn’t have negative pressure. I had to have the client sit with the needle in her arm as I drew air out of the tube. I wasn’t sure if the balancing tube was sterile and it didn’t have the heparin agent so I decided against using that as a backup. Also, the yellow injecting needles(30g I believe) were a perfect size for gliding right under the skin. Only issue is it leaks, so I lost a small, but needed, amount of plasma. Even having your finger just touch the plunger causes it to leak. That isn’t this companies fault as I have used those needles a few other times and had the same issue with leaking. Clean up was simple. You have everything you need in the kit except the centrifuge and gauze. Definitely recommend for this procedure

I have purchased this kit 3 times to use under my eyes and for mesotherapy of the face. You do need a centrifuge and a tourniquet but everything else is provided. My hollow dark under eyes have been revived thanks to this great kit.

I had purchased this produced previously 3 times but this 4th time I purchased it the kit was different. The kit used to include a Butterfly catheter, now they include an IV catheter. This personally is a major downgrade when it comes to drawing your own blood without assistance. I was successful in collecting all 3 samples with one vain puncture but it was definitely not an easy task to do alone, whereas with the butterfly catheter allowing minor movement the IV catheter does not. Another thing that has changed from the kit is the PRP tubes, they used to include just one now they include 2 with one PRF, it is important to note that the tubes themselves have been downgraded from glass to plastic. The old kit use to provide a smaller 44mm needle for the injections now they provide a 1-inch needle for injection now. Overall the only advantage to the new kit is that you get two PRP tubes instead of 1, but the old kit was definitely much better and a 5 star kit in my opinion.

This is a nice basic, introductory kit to the things you may need if you decide to try doing your own Platelet Rich Plasma injection treatments. The kit arrives in a sealed box, with all the components in a sterile, sealed packaged. There are no instructions, which makes sense - if you need instructions, this product isn't for you. This kit assumes you know enough about PRP and lab work that you will be able to identify and use the items that are included.Included items:1. butterfly needle x12. vacutainers x3 (one is for thrombin plasma, one for platelet rich plasma, and one growth rich plasma).3. 1.0 mL syringe x14. 2.5 mL syringe x15. hypodermic needles (x2)6. long aspirator needle x17. the thing the other end of the butterfly needle snaps into that connects with the vacutainers - I forgot what its called.BOTTOM LINE:Everything is sterile, well packaged. If you know what you're doing, and you're interested in doing your own PRP treatments, this is a good place to get started so you can see if its for you. The media could not be loaded.  I don't know the package is unbroken but I have seen water or something else inside the tube. I mean should I use it or it's a defective package??

The media could not be loaded.  I received the pack and the outer packet looked okay. I tore the sticker on the side to reveal its contents. First thing I noticed were these strange oil or wet marks on the packet itself and a very crumpled instruction leaflet. When I examined the inner contents I noticed a dark half inch curled hair in the blood collection adaptor. It made me question the cleanliness of the environment in which they prepare these packs and how ‘sterile’ it actually is. I also noticed little black specks and dust on the butterfly as well. I am returning this product as I do not feel comfortable using it on a client.

The media could not be loaded.  I just need the item for my client,but now I can't use this item because of missing a scalp vein interface tube to be attached to the needle.And its place is empty in the pack as show in the photo.I am not happy with this order.Thanks

Product is not as advertised. Incomplete kit. Absolute waste of time and money. Missing syringe for extraction. Missing needle for applying PRP. Missing vein tube. Completely unusable and useless kit. This is the 3rd kit I ordered, the first two were ok. Something has definitely changed in the suppliers packing. Won't be buying anymore.
