Will this cut through chicken bones?

Cuts through a whole fryer chicken with 1 hit if you do it right. I don't like to damage my cutting board too much so I take 3 or 4 chops to get through the whole chicken usually. It also goes through turkey and pork.

How does this obliterator compare with the dalstrong ravenger? for processing a whole pig with bone. pros/cons?

Thank you for your question. The Obliterator is a heavier cleaver than the Ravager, and is for heavier duty jobs, like cutting huge chunks of meat, pork bones (but not beef bones).

Can you dice, mince, julienne and perform small cuts ? Or blade is to thick ?

Thank you for your question. This knife might be too big and thick for delicate cuts, but if you've got the skill, then it's possible.

I know that to cut thick bones you need a saw, but for smaller bones and chicken bones what do you recommend more, the obliterator or the devastator?

Hi Ernesto, thank you for your question. Ernesto, both knives are good for cutting smaller bones and chicken bones. However, if you want a more light-weighted knife, I would recommend the Dalstrong Gladiator Series 12.5" "Devastator" Cleaver & Butcher Knife. Weighing in at a sizable 1.5 lbs, with a 4mm thick blade, this knife is a menacing cross between a chef’s knife, slicer and a cleaver. With a uniquely designed protruding belly, the Devastator’s blade geometry makes deboning, chopping, rocking, and breaking down beef, poultry, pork, and other animals look like child’s play. Should you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Have a great day!
