Centerpoint AXCS185BK Sniper 370 Crossbow Package

I'm a beginner at the archery game so my opinion may not be worth a whole lot, but here it is. So far I am very impressed with this cross bow. I was looking around for an entry level cross bow at what I consider to be a sane price and came across this one. As I have no experience with them and have never even touched one in real life, I wasn't really interested in paying $1000 or more to see if I would even like it. This one fit the bill nicely. I doubt you can find a better price on a comparable bow. It arrived on time and was fairly easy to assemble as well. I assembled it and took it to a range the next day to zero it. It shoots like a dream and as you can see from the picture, it's very accurate. That target was at 30 yards and I nailed the very center. May not be impressive to anybody else, but I was quite pleased with how easy it was to shoot and how accurate it can be. I had a lot of fun with it and that is worth a lot me. I can also see that it will be a serious weapon to be used for hunting, which is important as well. This is definitely not a toy. I don't really have a lot of negative things to say about it. Maybe there's better bows out there, but this is the right one for me at this time. The only things I can say that I wasn't that happy about, was the fact that this was purchased as a new unopened item, but as you can clearly see in the picture, the box has been opened and another tag placed over the old one. The parts were kind of strung out all over inside the box as well. Everything was there though, and nothing was broken, so it wasn't that big a deal. Didn't give me a warm fuzzy though when I went to open the box and it had already had some of the new let out, lol. The only other complaint that I can think of is the way Amazon has these listed. They have 3 different cross bows listed as black, camo and camo 2. With different prices on all three. Of course I can tell the difference between the black and the camo's easy enough, but what is the difference between the camo and camo 2? Other than about $40 that is? They are all the same model, so is the difference literally just the camo pattern? The pictures of both the camo's are exactly the same. If that's the only difference then it doesn't seem like it would be very smart to pay $40 more for the other one. Oh well, to each his own on that I guess. Anyway, If you are looking for a good cross bow at a reasonable price, this one might be for you too.

This crossbow was the first bow i have ever owned and it was a great purchase. I cannot shoot a compound bow due to shoulder problems. I finally decided to take a chance on a crossbow and it was the right move with this one. I researched a lot prior to purchasing this one and I kept coming back to this one based on the previous reviews and the price. I just took my first deer with it at 20 yards and it did the job perfectly. It has great speed and accuracy. I was able to sight it in quickly and the accuracy is consistent. I read some complaints about the arrows and the scope but both items have been fine for me with no issues. The assembly was fairly easy but i did have to compare the instructions to the pictures on the box to totally understand what some of it meant so the instructions could be a bit more detailed. Overall and I extremely excited to own this great crossbow and it did not cost me a fortune. I highly recommend it, especially for first time bow owners.

This bow shoots fast, flat, and accurately. The safety guard is nice and big to prevent losing a finger. Some assembly required, but all tools except a flat screwdriver were included. Instructions were not very easy to read, so I suggest you watch a video online. I suggest using blue Loctite on the assembly bolts and set screws. The included scope took quite a bit of adjustment to get to zero, but it hit the target out of the box and held zero. I had to shorten up the rope on the cocking mechanism so that my 13 year old boy could cock it himself, but that was a piece of cake (rated at 185 lb draw, so it still takes almost 90 lbs with the rope mechanism). My son complained the crossbow was heavy, but at a little under 8 pounds, it is comparable to other entry level units. You need to buy a nice target rated for crossbow bolts. I used someone else's block that is several years old and it had a hard time stopping my bolts before they got buried to the fletching. I lost a couple of bolts due to target damage. I would also suggest buying a decocking bolt because the crossbow has an anti-dry fire mechanism. It can be defeated, but it basically makes it a two person job. For a good quality bow that is rated at 370FPS, this is a bargain with all of the accessories (bolts with practice points, cocking rope, quiver, scope, wax) it comes with. This makes it an excellent choice as a first crossbow.

Me encantó, es una ballesta muy bonita y muy potente, lo único malo es que no venia con el cinturón que se utiliza para transportarla, pero fuera de todo eso es una ballesta bastante buena Otra cosa que me gustó fue el envío que estaba previsto para el jueves y me llego el martes
