WOW!! My 2 y/o toy poodle LOVES this carrier...he is 6#, and it allows him to ride right near my heart. He feels protected, and he can see where we're going! There is a safe-t-strap that connects to his leash harness, so he can't get lost if he jumps out...which would be difficult to do because it's deep enough that he relaxes into it when he sits...it gently nudges him into a comfortable position. It's really comfortable and light weight on my shoulder. The soft detachable SERVICE DOG tag is prominently displayed.He was a bit anxious in our former carrier which was a traditional adjustable crossbody strap bag that hung above my hip , and he would swing around when I walked. It was a designer carrier that I got from the ASPCA @a discount when I made a donation...so clearly they endorsed the design.It is very soft and lightweight...so it's very easy on my shoulder...but it is also a substantial fabric, with a soft lining so it is sturdy as well, and it offers a bit of padded protection for him..We travel a lot between L.A. & NYC and it is a VERY efficient way of carrying him, doesn't qualify as an "Xtra" bag, and can pack in my purse during a flight. I saw a contestant on Bravo TV "What Not To Wear" with it...she was an animal rescue person..and .it didn't get cut from her wardrobe!!! Anyway, I'm gushing because this carrier was a very welcome find...

I just want to start out by saying, by all intents and purposes, the sling DOES do its job. It provides a mode of carrying and transportation, HOWEVER, not at all without need for improvement. There are several things I do not like about the sling, such as the fact the sling is NOT adjustable, and so because of my small stature and my dog's weight (12-ish lbs), the sling always sags along my hip line and is so uncomfortable. I also have frequent shoulder and neck pain and this certainly adds to it. The fabric is also extremely thick and not breathable, my dog is a pomeranian/chihuahua mix with a LOT of hair and gets hot easy, speaking of hair, this thing collects ALL of it. And it makes it look so dirty and unpresentable even when I clean and lint roll it 72,000 times before leaving the house. It also has NO type of security and I find myself paranoid and worrying about my dog falling out, which he almost has several times because he just sags in it, I have to essentially still hold him even when in the sling. Definitely would not buy again, and would NOT recommend unless your pooch is 7lbs and UNDER. Although it was very cute riding around campus on my bike with him in the sling, he himself seemed to like it, although it was HELL tying to get him in it correctly. Ugh, what a hassle.

Nice material, sturdy. I feel she is very safe in it. I really like how wide the band across the shoulder is. My 5lb Chihuahua seems very comfortable and it’s important for her to be close to my heart to sense my condition upsets and this sling is a convenient way for her to do that. It also allows me to use both arms rather than carry her. She loves snuggling in it when I’m sitting down too.

After trying COUNTLESS sling/packs for my tiny chihuahua, I ordered this. It is a keeper! I am comfortable, & he is completely comfortable. It isn't adjustable, and I like to wear him higher on my chest, but this is was an easy alteration. A great sling for a great price. We added 3 large snaps across the top just for extra security, only 1 snap is used at a time depending on how he decides to situate himself in the sling. ***BUT*** could you make one in gray? I would really like once of these that I am not constantly rolling the hair off. I recommend this product 100%!

I just love this sling for holding my little yorkie. She seems to feel very secure in it. She likes to be with mommy and this is a way to keep her close at all times. There a couple of issues: The sling strap is not adjustable, but it fits me ok; the part of the sling that holds the dog does not have any buttons to help secure the dog in the sling; the security strap fastenings seem a flimsy but they work and my is dog only 7 lbs. All in all this sling is very soft for both animal and "mommy", sort of like tee shirt material but a little thicker. And the non-adjustable strap fits me fine.

it's so soft that it stretches when the dog is in it so the handle should be a little shorter but I keep my hand under the bag to hold the dog up so she won't fall off lol, I haven't used it but a couple times. I guess it's not so secure, my pup is 11 Ibs, if your dog is lighter and smaller it may work better for you.

Fabric is like a thick, comfortable sweatshirt. The only issue is my dog is 9lbs so she kind of sags in it. Also because it is like a sweatshirt, she gets hot in it on really hot days. Tag is well made and visible. Overall satisfied with purchase.

This is a great way to carry my seizure alert service dog in a crowd. It is so easy for him to get trampled in a large crowd and I need him to notify him if I am about to have a seizure. I would be lost without him. This has been a life saver for both of us. Thank you so very much for a fabulous product.
