When we took our last trip across country, it seemed by the time we stopped at night my husband and I were both so tired, we just wanted to plug in our devices and go to sleep. However, we had forgotten to take along the various attachments for charging and ended up having to swap them off during the night in order to be charged for the next days travel.This wonderful hub was a rescue for us! No longer do we have to haul along several other chargers just to take care of our separate electronic devices, plus remembering to add them to our pack list. This particular hub does an amazing job of a very organized charge by having one spot to plug into for all devices we drag along.We travel with two iPads, two Mac Book Pros, and two cell phones. Not to mention my Apple watch, which fortunately for me comes with its own charger but at first charged with everything else all over the counter!For this amazing price of less than $70 you can have a peace of mind knowing that you have to pack only one device that weighs less than 5 ounces plus one plug to charge.This unit is an eight in one type C hub and the only advice I can give you is to be sure you have a type C port connection as the older model electronic devices are usually a type A.I had not realized that when I purchased this hub but I am still able to use many of its benefits and so happy that we have it anyway. It is a motivator for us now to update our computers. Besides who could resist a new toy!With a special plug we were able to use this hub as it is. What I like about it is that you just plug it in and is ready to go.Being light weight ,it is even better as it literally won’t make you lug along that extra weight in your purse or baggage you usually dread when hauling accessories! I purchased this device because it seemed to have the most features built in an at the lowest price point. The device does work after I have it all set up and connected but there are two issues that I would like to point out.#1 When using the VGA port you really need to push the connector in as far as you can and if it wiggles or is moved at all the monitor will loose color or have a green tint. Playing with the cable for a minute and it will display like it should. It does not have the screw holes for the VGA cable to screw into to hold it in tight.#2 If you are using the VGA port, the audio plug and SD card slot get covered by the VGA cable.

Just receive this small and nice extension hub. Most of the time I am using my Mac book while I still need to charge my Mac Book, phone and view recorded video on SD card. The build quality is good, not a loose one as I noticed. Compare to other extension hub that will cost you twice as much, this is really a good bargain. So far I have no issue with the hub including the WiFi issue that mention by other members. This hub did meet my requirements and did it's job well with only a small cost, so what's the reason not giving it a FIVE star?

I so wanted a one device-fits-all-needs, but this did not work (when when Amazon graciously returned and sent me another to try) with my HP Spectre. It would continuously start to work, and eject, start to work and eject.

I buy this product and use it for my DELL XPS laptop. As the laptop is super thin, so I buy it in case there are situations I need to connect my laptop to the projector.. It works well with my laptop and the thunderbolt interface.. and it's cheaper than the original Dell's port.. I would like to give it 5 star.

There seems to be a short in the wiring in the tether. Slight movements will cause a disconnect in the connectivity between the product and my computer. I tested this by doing the same movements with my power cord to see if it was the computer but I was unable to reproduce the short as the power cord had a well snug fit. Perhaps this is not the product to be purchasing if you want a 100% connection 100% of the time.

This thing is a piece of junk, after not too long it will usually drop the ethernet connection to the internet for no apparent reason.

It works really well with my MacBook. I have not had any issues with it. The price is very affordable so I highly recommend it to those who need a hub.
