I'm really wondering if anyone who positively reviewed this product actually washed it?! When this arrived I washed and dried it a total of 5 times! Not kidding. I had to empty the lint trap multiple times per load and it was full to the brim. I had several small trash cans full of lint! Then I air dried it outside on my clothes line and lint continued to spill off the thing. The only positive I give this item is that it looks nice. Period. If you enjoy lint infestation everywhere and all up in your lungs then this is the duvet cover for you! It's not comfy, looks and feels like a bathroom towel...and the LINT is insane. I actually think it's a health and fire hazard to be honest. Buyer beware.

Item was great until it was washed. (You obviously must periodically wash bedding).The Chenille after washing pills and sheds. In the attached photo’s you can see what the morning looks like.We have to vacuum the floor every morning and you can see the collection of Chenille dust-bunnies that covers our sheets.This product is going directly into the trash.DO NOT PURCHASE.

I really love the look of this duvet cover, I really do...but...unbelievable amount of lint. I have washed it twice, double rinsed, dried/fluffed like crazy to get rid of the lint...I have even vacuumed it...multiple times filling the vacuum each and every time! First time I washed it it filled my little garbage can with lint...and it still had lint all over the place...I mean all over - in the air, all over your clothes (it looks like you rolled around in a lint bin), up your nose, on the sheets, the floor, the furniture...ditto that the second time around...This would be a 5 star if it wasn't such a hot mess.

This is a beautiful set. Just as it looks in photo. It is well made, 100% cotton, which was very important to me. I searched for a 100% cotton duvet for weeks before choosing this one. I washed and dried it when it arrived without any problems. It is a very light grey. It's soft. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that there are not ties in the inside corners to attach the duvet as stated in the description. I was really bummed about that because it was a feature I was interested in. I'm keeping it because besides the missing ties, it is beautiful and I love it.

Absolutely LOVE this duvet set! I have one similar for college and liked it so much that I bought this one for my bed at home. Definitely gets softer as you use and wash it. Very well made with tons of buttons that are easily hidden and keep the comforter inside. Highly recommend!

My bed is a queen size. However, the bedspreads always hang so short, and I prefer a bedskirt. I initially purchased the King duvet set and it still seemed short to me (plus the pillows were obviously too large for my queen). I then purchased the Full/Queen bedspread set (with the fringe, and used the bedspread as my skirt). I do like the two sizes of pillows together. I did not put a duvet insert into the duvet (although it did have buttons and ties). I prefer to roll that down and not sleep with it, and just use a cover. Reason being both the duvet and bedspread seemed to take forever to dry in my dryer (since I used low heat). I want to refrain from having to wash/dry it often, although it did wash up well. It doesn't really shed as I read in other reviews (other than in the dryer of course). It is a decent quality, not too thin. Not exceedingly soft, but okay. It is really pretty and I love it. Still not loving the look of the two together -- I may end up removing one. I really like the fringe - should have bought that one in the king size. Live and learn.... I purchased both as used/returns and both arrived in terrific shape. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

1st off - it is beautiful. It is large enough to hang over the sides of my queen bed nicely (and I have 2 mattress toppers on it, because of back issues) I thought it would be more cream/off white, but it is pure white. Either way, it compliments my bedroom perfectly. I do wish that it had a zipper instead of buttons, as it can be taxing for someone with a short patience lol, but surprisingly, the buttons do not come undone and hold the duvet insert just fine. HOWEVER - it came with 2 holes ripped in it that I almost didn’t notice because it was in between the patterns. It had lots of gross orange stains all over it that looked like someone grabbed it with greasy Cheeto fingers even tho it was tightly packaged. Thankfully, the stains came out by mixing some oxy clean and water in a spray bottle and drenching the crap out of the orange spots. And then throwing it in the wash with oxy clean powder and using oxy clean & arm and hammer laundry detergent. It did arrive quickly, which was nice. However I am still salty because I try to look for products that are of good quality that will last for years. But I just don’t think they make durable products to last like they used to. I don’t think this with last longer than a year. I think consumers are more interested in appearance than longevity, and in turn this leads to overpricing because people are willing to pay a gross amount just for visual satisfaction or “aesthetic”. It’s just another grossly overpriced item on Amazon, made of super thin material that you probably could have found for 1/2 the price pre COVID, before the consumer market started settling for cheaply made products at high prices. Sorry for the rant. It is a lovely concept, I understand mistakes happen, I just wish there was better quality control. The pattern is beautiful, however it does shed some times. And had created lots of dust in my room until the 2nd - 3rd wash. 5/10 might recommend - highly suggest better quality control and inspection upon packing.(Side note - if you are worried about staining and cleaning, I had accidentally marked the cover with a dark green permanent marker and was able to lift it with just oxy clean and water mixture. There was no lingering stain and it required no soaking just a spot clean -spray, let sit, dab with towel to soak up moisture once stain has faded. It’s pretty easy to clean and take care of due to the fact the material is so thin)

This is a really beautiful duvet cover and I'm happy with the look of it.It's quite scratchy and uncomfortable to the touch though. It's also produces an INCREDIBLE amount of fluff. I probably got a shopping bag worth out of my lint trap and I had to empty it every 20 mins while I was drying it. All that and there is still white fluff all over my room. It also had a really strong chemical smell that took 4 washes to (nearly) get rid of.All in all I love the look of it so am happy enough with the purchase. I think it's really expensive for all the cons listed above, however.

Pretty comforter but extremely deceiving in size. We ordered a king and it does NOT drape over the bed as shown. barely hangs over 6 inches on each side. We current have a double duvet in and there’s no way a king size duvet will fit in this. Should have bought the coverlet and just covered the bed.Was so excited for this and was very disappointed in now it looks. What's even more disappointing - not even an acknowledgement from seller about the deceiving size. I wish I had returned this item.

I was so hoping to love this duvet base of other good reviews, however my experience was not the same.... the color is not a beautiful bright light grey as pictured and the chenille was awful looking very cheap and looks likes something you would mop the floor with.... sorry for the bad review but for the price is definitely a rip off, way too much for the quality. hope they use more" luxurious fabric" base on this review I definitely did not get anything close to luxurious

So pretty I love it. So so so pretty. It's light enough that I don't sweat but heavy enough to keep me warm on top of my feather duvet. I originally put my duvet inside but my husband didn't like it. I bet it's going to get super soft after a wash since it's kinda starchy. It's a pricey duvet cover but it does look expensive and really makes the room look classy.

It had pinkish stains all along the packaging's zipper. Like something had been spilled on it. The fabric was quite rough and did not feel like it would be confortable to sleep with. Like many comments said it looked like it would produce a lot of lint. The color was also more yellow than I expected. I returned it.
