Wellness Core Natural Grain Free Dry Dog Food, Lamb, 12-Pound Bag

For whatever reason wellness brand has had a quality issue for my dog. I finally figured out that if I buy the large bags she loses interest in it after a week, I store it in an airtight container. ( I love this food for her and she does too! But I need to address this issue )I have to buy the little bags in order for her to like this, I’m certain it’s a freshness issue because I’ve tried over and over and each time she turns up her nose at the same brand and flavor dog food in the large bag. Sigh. So I’m left with paying way more for less. I have no doubt this food is healthy for her, it’s improved her coat, and overall well-being. But I’m just so tired of the extra expense for the same thing! So be warned if you have a picky eater, the small bags are the way to go.

My dog is part Westie and part miniature Schnauzer. He has allergic reactions to chicken turkey and other fowl. His poop was loose, foul smelling, and often uncontrollable diarrhea.I paid $350 to the vet, a couple of years ago, to see what he’s allergic to.. it came back as chicken, barley and a couple of other grains. It is really hard to find things that don’t contain chicken, Turkey, duck, etc. Grains is easier these days....He now has perfectly formed poop, no diarrhea, and a beautiful coat of hair. And he isn’t chewing and licking himself.For my dog, this is a great product.Wish I could send you a picture...

i did a ton of research and this dog food brand is the best for your dog. the kibbles are big and crunchy, not soft and cardboard like and aren't super greasy. you can tell that the kibble quality is better than cheaper options. make sure at least one member of your family is getting the best nutrition they absolutely can.

This product received GREAT reviews in several articles and I thought I would try it out. Bought the small bag to start and mixed it with what they are currently eating so as not to upset their digestive system. Ruppert Loved it, but he will eat just about anything. Meanwhile Gemma doesn't like it. I hate throwing out food. But at least Ruppert will eat it.

If you read the ingredients panel on the bag it is very impressive. Comes from a well trusted company. And no I did not try to eat it so the flavor comment it's just the enjoyable book on my dog's face.

My dog was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy with left sided heart failure. When I told the veterinary cardiologist that this was the food that I was feeding him they told me that this food and foods like it with high legume (peas, beans, nuts, etc.) content are being linked to this kind of hear failure. We switched his food as they recommended to something without legumes and his heart has recovered a little bit but he is not healed.

I have been feeding my dogs (a border collie mix and a pithuahua) CORE for about a year. My dogs’ coats glisten, without feeling oily. Their undercoats are soft as lambs’ wool. The dogs have maintained their weight; if anything, they have lost a bit, approaching their optimal weights. Their stools are firm; no suggestion of digestive problems with this food. I leave this food out 24/7, so the dogs self-regulate on how much food they eat.
