Great quality & well made.
Takes 2 people to assemble. Very well made. Instructions are great, but pay attention to details. They matter. We found best success by hand tightening screws first before final tighten. Everything aligns well.

Good construction.
Construction was very good. The fasteners provided were of good quality. The only minor disappointment was that I expected the upper bunk entrance to be reversible end for end, but is welded to the main fore/aft member which must be assembled in only one orientation.

Great for tall people!
The Twin XL bunk bed is perfect for my tall teenage sons as it's 4" longer than their previous twin bunk bed. One boy is already 6โ2โ and can stretch out completely. The frame is very sturdy. The black color looks more like a dark grey as it has a nice matte finish. The ladder is quiet and sturdy. The rungs on the ladder are a bit uncomfortable, so I will be adding ladder pads for an additional $17. Those pads might need to be replaced annually as they're only taped on. I will also place the ladder pad foam to the middle supporting leg to protect from future toe bumps. I will be using twin XL mattresses with only an 8" thickness to make sure no tall person is hitting their heads on anything when sitting up. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Terrible all around.
Terrible bed. Waste of money, you canโt return because the cost to return is more than it is even worth.The ladder is so thin that it hurts the bottoms of feet when you climb or get down. The entire bed shakes with every movement. I did not feel safe allowing my kids to use this bed.

Size matters, correct dimensions should be mentioned.
Do not go by the size shown in the image. External size shown is 77.7'' by 41.7'' and internal size is 75.2 by 39.4But the bed received was external 75.4'' by 38.5'' , not twin over twin.Waste of money.I had also purchased 2 mattresses 75'' by 39'' which is not fitting.Huge loss for me.
