Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty Mini Tin Complete Bundle Gift Set - 8 Pack

The mini tins have just enough in them to be a great "fidget" for busy hands- just a bit smaller than a golf ball. Some have said they are difficult to open, and yes they can be. If the tin is sideways or upside down (which it will likely be if you're a mama who wants to have a ready restaurant/airplane/waiting room diversion in her bag), the putty eventually will lay whichever way inside the tin and make it hard to open. I found that if I give it a twist and pull, it opens, and then you have to get in there and peel it out. Once it's in hand, it starts out sort of plastic-rubbery and then it warms up and becomes very pliable and fun to use. It's an interesting transition for kids to discover. I believe it is of excellent quality because it keeps for a very long time as long as it's put away when done. Love the Glow in-the-dark versions. My kids love these hypercolors as well and even I play with them!

Was skeptical! It is a bit pricey, almost $30 for 8 putties....unmm okay....so I bought them since it seemed to be the best deal for the price without spending 80 bucks. So we bought them for my 8 year old son with sensory issues. He loves them, and I love the fact that they don't dry out!!! I was surprised by how long they have lasted him. Even though I still think they are a little pricey, I will be buying them again. They fit well in my son's hand and pocket and they are a great quality especially since they last for so long. Usually he ends up losing them. So not sure how long they last. But he has kept a few for a few weeks without having it dry out on him or shrink in size.

In the photo of the product it shows 2 different colors for each putty and so far that has not been the case. My children and I have opened several and they are one solid color. I also should have been more observant on the size of these tins. They're very very small. My kids only complained about the colors not being "swirly" LOL and that the tins are very difficult to open. Other than that they seem to love them. I really like that this putty doesn't dry out. My oldest daughter has major fidget issues with her ADHD and this putty helps her focus, calm down and entertains her for hours. I hope this review helps!

These are like sample sizes compared to the ones you buy individually but other than that they are great. I expected them to be soft, like playdoh but they turned out to be tougher and harder thus not as easy to mold but with a little practice you will be able too. But i think they were never made to be molded that way anyway. They are fun to stretch and twist and form into a ball and bounce around. And it does bounce pretty good. After exposing it out in the sun for less than a minute, we ran back inside and the glow was pretty bright. Definitely fun to play with.

Nice variety set but tins are much smaller than expected and not worth the price for what you get. That being said, my main gripe with this product is the difficulty in opening the tin can. I have purchased other Crazy Aaron's Putty products without any problem opening the can. However, because these are considerably smaller than the other ones I have purchased, they are more difficult to open. Also, be aware that the colored putty can stain when left on a surface or item for an extended period of time. (such as stuffed animals or clothes). Alcohol wipes work well at cleaning up putty that has gotten stuck on surfaces, but will not clean the color that was transferred to surface.

Each holiday season I like to give gift bags to my team at work. Last year I gave them the stress balls that come in netting. The netting broke, the balls broke - so though it was a nice idea, it was a major fail. This year I got them the small tins of Aaron's Thinking Putty. This was a big hit! I'm a Supervisor in a Call Center, and this is something the folks can play with while they're on calls. They're fun, and a good stress-reliever. Highly recommended.

We have a lot of kid birthday parties and this is great. We got the set and drop one of these tins in with the main birthday gift for whomever. Nice to add variety. They are small, not the standard size.

Great office fidgers. I bought these for a big corporate meeting. Some people loved them while others had not interest. Those like me, with adult ADHD love them. The color change adds new interest. It's quiet, not obnoxious of intrusive in a meeting, but helps to keep me focused. I prefer this over playdough, as it has a smoother texture and seems to hold up longer. It's like a higher end silly putty.
