Cheap but it does work, the plastic in the box is a very fragile, I used in 2 different cars and it broke when I took it off. If you leave it there it will last for sure

Ordered our cameras several months ago and just recently decided to install with the hardwire kit. Unfortunately the kit only had one connection and our camera needed two like what is in the listing photo. We contacted customer service and it turns out the single connection is updated for their newer camera style. The helped us return our older cameras (way outside of the Amazon return date) and replaced them with the newer camera style. Excellent customer service.

I was nervous to purchase this hard-wire kit as the reviews were mid at best and there was no specification whether or not it was compatible with the rear facing camera on the K600. However, as you can see from the pics, this kit has all the pieces and more to easily install permanently and also (see red arrow in wiring harness close up pic) supports the unique wiring method for the rear camera. This is a MUST HAVE for the Ovaman K600 if you want to hardwire it in to your vehicle.

Similar to another user's review, I ordered this kit for a K600, and the hardwire kit was NOT the one on the picture. The K600 has a single USB-C connector and the wire is split in 2: one prong goes to the power panel and one prong goes to the rear camera cable. I ordered one kit initially, it didnt have the split cable. I requested a return and exchange for the same product, and again it was the wrong cable. If you sell a camera with such specialized connectors, you should make sure you are providing the customer with the right hardwire kit. This is frustrating. I opted for returning it and buying an accessory adapter with a fuse tap so I can use the included power cable. My car doesnt have a cigarette lighter connector. I regret buying the camera because of this unique need for a split cable.

The issue I noticed is not with the hardwire kit but with the actual camera such as the K600. I have ordered x2 K600s a few months apart and have noticed a design difference which makes this hardwire kit semi-useful for one design. The first camera design received had x1 USB-C port with the rear cam having a unique connector which works well with this kit. The other camera design has a USB-C and AUX port which the AUX is for the rear camera. The first design cam and rear cam both plug into the hardwire kit. The second design rear cam and hardwire kit both plug into the main camera.
