TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub – Enjoy a Fast, Strong, Reliable Wi-Fi Connection in Your Home

After umpteen lengthy calls to TalkTalk about my original router which was constantly slowing down to a snails pace, and getting nowhere, I decided to buy a replacement - works like a dream and the speed increased significantly and ideal for my uses.Probably not the best in the market, in the case of speed, but perfectly fine for me and for the price.

Very easy to setup, lifting the lid has installation instructions for the hub, unpacking was easy and fitting it all together was no problem. Did check Amazon reviews as well as reviews on Bing and it was very easy to follow the setup. Hub was recognised by my computer within a minute or two of switching computer on and my mobile was to basically input password of the unit into the relevant box on the screen and that was that.

OK. No drama.

I wanted a new Sagecom router to replace an old one. This new router is very slow only 12mps, the other was 36mps.

My old router was getting old, kept knocking of internet complaint to talktalk got no where with them, so I bought this one and it has never stoped.Had to reset all phones and iPads with the new router password apart that it has been a good buy.

I was hoping this would help improve our wi-fi connection speed but it hasn't lived up to it's expectation, I'm afraid. The item sent was new looking and had all the wires etc still in their original cables etc but there was no instruction leaflet in the box which should have been there!?My speeds in the house are still very poor, although TalkTalk say the speed to the router is okay!?

Item was new, opened box from Cash Generator Shirly. Well delivered, packed and as described.About the router: With not bad - but not good Wifi and internet via Talk talk the limits of the existing HG633 were apparent both in terms of signal strength, and when used via power line adaptors. The HG633 is looking a bit obsolete. The Wifi signal of this later unit is far better x4 + than the HG633 and also the powerline route is far better x10+ because of the more current ethernet ports.Set up to a talk talk service was just change the cables and power on. Not fibre just normal phone line.Despite being a long time with TT it is a shame they don't believe there is a valid need to keep routers current and not providing newer routers as available is poor customer retention.
