Q: This listing say iDye Poly in the main listing, but says it is only for cotton? Please explain or revise your listing?

this is for synthetic fabrics. If you have a blend of natural/synthetic fabric, it will only stain the synthetic fabrics, yielding a lighter version of the color. I used this on a pink sweatshirt that was a poly cotton blend. THe black ended up being a medium grey, which is what I set out for. If you have a blend and you want the fabric to dye fully, you will need to use a mix of this product ant the iDye that is meant for natural fabric.

I doubt it. I tried to dye a dark yellow dress black and it is olive green

Not exactly. Heat is 100% needed for this product to be set in the fabric. You can iron the fabric after the dye has dried after you squirt it on, but that is incredibly time consuming. You should steam instead. Q: Can i use this to dye an old wedding dress?

This product works specifically for synthetic fabrics. You need to check what kind of fabric your dress is in to have a great result. Types of Synthetic Fibers- Rayon, Nylon, Polyester and Acrylic.
