LG Google Nexus 5 Screen Protector - Tempered Glass - Package Includes Microfiber Cleaning Wipe, Installation Tips with Video - Retail Packaging - by TruShield

I was really excited to get this screen protector for my Nexus 5. I'm still glad to have it and to be using it, but for someone like me, it wasn't really as good as I expected. I followed the included instructions, as well as the instructional video, exactly. Unfortunately, the screen protector had multiple spots where it just wouldn't stick to the glass face of the phone. They show up as these little rainbow, oil slick looking spots. No matter what, I couldn't get them to go away, even reapplying the screen protector. I wrote to TruShield customer service and they were great. They responded quickly and sent out a replacement screen protector right away. I just received the replacement protector today and tried applying the new protector. Same outcome. So either there's a consistent defect with the manufacturing of this protector, my phone's glass face isn't perfectly flat, or I simply do not possess the amazing skills necessary to get this protector to apply without getting these little rainbow spots. I'm still going to use the protector, even though these little spots annoy the crap out of me. It will still protect my screen, so that's good, and the customer service was great, so that's good too, but the spots are still going to annoy me to death.

I like it overall. It fit my Nexus 5 perfectly and was by far the easiest screen protector I have ever applied (first glass). My only complaint is it seems to be very easy to scratch. Mine has all kinds of marks on it already that you can feel as you swipe around on the screen as well as a small chip on one edge. I'm not careless with the phone, so I'm not sure what's happening. I would probably get one again, for the price I can afford to replace it every few months to keep it looking (and feeling) nice!

Purchased this screen protector twice. The first time it developed a sort of big air bubble on the bottom and I figured it was because of a mistake I made during application. I ordered a new one, removed the old one, cleaned it like crazy, and despite there being no dust there's still a bubble in the same area. Either the phone's glass is warped (which would be odd since I just received it from Google), or the screen protector is missing proper adhesive in that area.Not sure what it is but I'm not willing to buy this thing again and burn the money to see if it does or doesn't work. I'll just go with a different glass screen protector brand.

Overall much better than film BUT not perfect. Two issues: 1. there are a couple of smudges that look like tiny fingerprints that were not put there by me. They are on the screen side. They don't affect anything but they are annoying. 2. One edge is starting to peel up (i.e an air pocket is forming) I have a Nexus 5 and, as such, the protector goes right to the edge. That may have something to do with it because it is virtually impossible to align with absolute precision. Overall, good protector, but anal-retentive types may not be so pleased.

I ordered multiple variations of this brand a few worked flawless without any major issues and some cracked apart. I'm not sure if the hardness or the thickness is the because a few cracked from normal use without being impacted. also outside edges started flaking away looking like dings or chips. A few air bubbles here and there but seem to work ok!Update:I actually dropped my phone a few days ago with the glass screen and a case on. The protector took the fall mostly and cracked at the edges but I think edge of the original screen also got broken. So this doesn't seem to protect the edge of the screen that well. I still think it may have prevent further damage though, so I'm willing to get a new one (now that this one has been broken).

The product does exactly what it is supposed to do. My biggest problem is these protectors are hard to install. You have to be extremely careful to not have any finger prints or dust on the screen. Taking it back off and trying to re-apply it does not seem to work. Maybe it is my technique but I have gone through two similar protectors.

After my plastic screen protector got way too grimy and scratched up I decided to try out a glass one. This one was relatively cheap, compared to gorilla glass or dbrand glass. When it came I put the glass protected under the light to see if it was chipped or anything (this has actually happened to me before with a much more expensive protector), nope clean and scratch free! It was super easy to apply. Very little bubbles, not sure if they are bubbles but there is a weird smudge on the top and bottom. Its not blocking the screen or anything.I love the feel of it. Very smooth and oil from fingers doesn't stick to it.The only thing I didn't like is there is a weird line on top of the screen where I think the adhesive wasn't properly put on. Its not too noticeable so it doesn't bother me. It can only be seen with the screen turned off. Compared to a plastic screen protector though this one is much much better! Definitely worth the extra bucks!
