Edge-of-your-seat crime thriller
I had heard bits and pieces about this film and, being interested in Australian film, thought it might have at least some memorable moments. I was not prepared for the stylish camerawork and direction in this tense crime thriller. The well-rounded characters, all of them flawed and connected, at times inadvertently, by the circumstances beyond their control, with brutally realistic fight scenes and a torture scene that will have you gripping your arm seat (many elements in this film have since been imitated, but not with the same gritty flare). Do your self a favour and indulge in a well crafted classic film.
