AUTLEY Silent Click Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Mouse - Powered by built-in rechargeable 400mAh Li- battery (VMS1, Silent Version, Right-handed) Compared to a traditional mouse, this ergonomic mouse snugly fits your palm with pinky finger rest, keeps your hand being in a more natural position, relieves pain and discomfort on your wrist. The vertical mouse is good choice for people who use the computer for a long time every day! NOTES! 1. It is in large size, maybe not very comfortable for women or small hands. Maybe take several days to get used to. 2. Adjust the sensitivity by DPI button, 800/1200/1600 DPI (slow to fast). NOT for playing professional games. 3. It lasts about 12-20 days at moderate use after fully charged. Please turn off the blue back light during night to save the power. 4. If it does not work fine, please do as the following steps: Unplug off USB receiver, turn off the mouse, restart PC, plug usb receiver into again, turn on the mouse. 5. If your Macbook equipped with only a Type C port, you need a adapter to get connected to this mouse. 6. It enters into sleep mode after not used for several minutes. Left/right click to wake it up. 7. It performs well on the mousepad, works on the ordinary desk, not for all surface. Comfortable but has a design flaw.
First a little background. I'm an electrical designer who uses a mouse 8-12 hours a day. I had an accident a number of years ago that shattered both of my wrists and now have had arthritis set in. I saw these vertical mouses in my search for a comfortable mouse and decided to give one a try. I picked this one for 2 reasons, price and customer reviews.Overall, good mouse. Very comfortable. I don't use the back and forward buttons so being backwards doesn't matter to me. My only complaint is the scroll wheel button. Working in AutoCAD and Revit, the center button is used all the time, almost as much as the left button. The position of the buttons require more of a diagonal push rather than a vertical push which seems un-natural and hard to do rapidly. If the scroll wheel button was easier for me to operate, this would, in my opinion, be the perfect mouse .

Very quiet!
The first ergonomic mouse I purchased was the Anker Vertical Mouse. It was a decent mouse but the cord was getting in the way. I was just going to get the same mouse but wireless and I saw this unit. The "Silent Click" feature along with the shape of the design sold me.***Features***The right and left mouse buttons are very quiet. The noise level and sound are similar to a new touch pads on laptops. It has a nice light and muted low click, which can be felt and slightly heard. A nice option for those with picky coworkers. The side back/forward, dpi, and middle click buttons are louder but still quieter than the Anker was. The dpi and middle click are a normal mouse click sound while the back and forward buttons are a little muted. The scroll wheel is pretty muted as well. The scroll wheel has muted detents or "ticks". Again, quieter than the Anker mouse.***Key Points***I have two of these mice and both of them exhibit the same scroll wheel behavior. The scrolling only actuates on every OTHER "tick" or "detent". They both work the same so this behavior should be expected. If you're used to very slowly rolling the scroll wheel to move the page up or down this may be an issue. I'm usually picky about such things but honestly the rest of the mouse is so good that I just work with it. I turned up the scroll amount/lines setting and it's fine. The buttons on the side are shiny plastic instead of matte, I asked support and they said they're all this way. They may change this in the future.***Overall***I've happy with my purchase. The scroll wheel behavior may be an issue for some people. If you're used to whipping the scroll wheel up and down you shouldn't even notice. But if you're a line by line scroller this behavior may annoy you. For me, the ergonomics on the mouse make up for any differences in scrolling.

Best mouse so far for large hands
I've used this mouse for several months. First of all, it does what an ergonomic mouse is supposed to do: for me it is more comfortable and less taxing that a normal, horizontal, mouse. I can use it for hours with little problem. It works fine and I don't notice it at all most of the time. It is not quite vertical, but still does the ergo job. For me, it fits much better than the cramped Evoluent vertical mouse--on that one the thumb and forefinger rest too close together. My hands are probably something like 80th percentile (XL+). This mouse may actually be marginally too large in one aspect; my hand can tend to "fall off the back" as if I was grabbing a large object like a basketball or watermelon and my hand slipped off. This is only a marginal complaint though; it is still the best mouse I've ever tried over the last 30 years.I haven't had battery life problems to the extent that some others have had; it works for about a week with at least 4 hours of computer use a day. I would rather it used a simple AA battery or a rechargable AA battery so you could just stick a new one in or rotate rechargables. When it dies, it dies quickly and is then unusable until recharged. That being said, it recharges quickly and I keep another mouse around anyway and I can use a non-ergo mouse for a couple of hours with no problems.Pros: Large, inexpensive, comfortable, eliminates ergo problems. Cons: Battery life & configurationEdit: I did forget one other thing that has been mentioned in some other reviews. There are a few times, especially when using via a KVM switch, when the mouse wouldn't respond after sitting for a while. Sometimes it would come back after a minute or so of clicking etc., but the better solution was to remove the dongle from the usb port and reinsert it. It, so far, has always responded quickly again.Edit2: I bought a second one of these since using the KVM switch was a pain for several reasons. This second mouse died after a couple of weeks: the usb dongle would get extremely hot and the mouse stopped working; intermittently at first and then completely. The company quickly sent a replacement and it has been working very well. As long as one is willing to keep a separate mouse to use when these need recharging, thse are great ergo mice.Edit3: I've had these for a couple of years now. I've switched my system up so that I only need one mouse. SInce I have two of these, I just keep one charged for when the other's battery dies. Then I charge that one up and set it aside. As these were inexpensive and very comfortable, having two is perfect.

Most comfortable mouse I have tried
I work online and use this keyboard/mouse/workstation 12+ hours, most days. I have had wrist/finger problems, and have been using ergonomic pointing devices since the 1980's. I have worn-out several trackballs and ergo mouses. When my 10-year-old Hippus HandShoe mouse died, I had to go shopping for a new mouse. So I bought 6 different highly-rated "ergonomic" mouses, and tried them all for a few weeks. I wear a "large" glove size. All of the other mouses were too small -- my little finger dragged on the desktop, and it became uncomfortable to constantly lift it up to avoid the irritation. This one is not perfect, but is much better than any of the others. My hand still tends to slide "down" the angle, until the little finger finds the desktop, but not as badly as with the other ergo-mouses. (I would like a little less tilt of the button-surface. A choice of a few different inclination angles would be good.)EDIT: After 8 months of daily use, and recharging maybe a dozen times, the little micro-USB port developed a problem. It now makes only an intermittent connection, and fails to charge the mouse. It is still a good mouse, when it has a charge. But I have to get another one to replace this failed unit. These things should not fail so quickly.
