STANLEY32749 10-LED Motion Activated Sensor Light

Replaced a motion sensor light not labeled Stanley, but the same device. Used outdoors, but sheltered, above the front door, with one screw. I hope this one lasts 15 years like the last one.

I bought this product on February 7th to use in my hallway. Today is March 30th. It quit working. I replaced the batteries and it still no longer works. Definitely, not something I would purchase again. Very disappointed.

I put 2 in a coat closet and worked perfect. One on each end. They are bright enough to see what we are doing in the closet with no issues. And they have sensors that work very well. Battery life using them in my safe, I tend to replace the batteries between 14 to 19 months depending on how much I get into the closet or safe, and they are not completely dead but getting low.I bought these years ago and I used these for my gun safe (I recently bought more for another safe). I hot glue small magnets to 2 different corners and put them on the rails in the safe. Worked out perfect too. I even picked up a couple extra for future use, as they are getting harder to find now (2020)You can buy the strong 1/2" magnets so they do not cover the battery cover or the switch. I have also just used Gorilla glue instead of hot glue. The only thing with Gorilla glue or any super glue, be sure to either hold or secure the magnet in place until dry. The magnets will creep toward the switch or battery cover due to the metal in the light. You can place them wherever you want on the rails and they do not require electricity. I have 6 in a 30 gun safe and I can see darn near every small corner in there with no issue.

The light is bright and the sensors work well. The material sent with the light that is designed to hold it in place does not work. This is the reason for the four star review.

I have three of these in wood sheds and outhouse where I don't have electricity. They are bright, have a quick trigger and long battery life. Doesn't look like picture. Lens is clear and motion sensor is more prismatic, looks better than picture actually.

Easy to install and motion sensor works great. Attempted to use in pantry but did not provide enough light to work well. I purchased two and installed both in small pantry (not large walk-in pantry), would activate pretty quickly just did not provide the lighting I needed to see what was on pantry shelves.

Perfect for dark closets- does what it is supposed to, doesn't eat through batteries horribly fast like the "as seen on TV" version

These make great lights for bathrooms at night, or closets. Great product

This Stanley Motion Sensitive Light is very bright with 10 LEDS. The motion sensitivity is good, activating from about 10 to 12 feet away. It stays on for about 30 seconds. The switch on the front has 3 positions: Off, On and Automatic motion sensitive. The motion sensitivity works at night, which is my prime purpose for buying it; however, it also activates in daylight or shaded area which I do not need nor want because it will cause the batteries to run out more quickly. I have some other lights made by Imation which do not turn on in daylight, which I prefer. The Stanley light can be attached to a wall using two-sided cushion-tape, one piece included, or by using a nail in the wall that inserts into a keyhole in the back of the light, which I strongly prefer because you need to be able to remove the light from the wall to open the back to change the batteries.

Excellent product! Motion detection works well and it is very bright! I use these in closets or non-high traffic areas as if it keeps coming on/off, it drains the batteries quicker. But they are perfect for those areas of infrequent use where you don't want to get an electrician to install a new electrical line, fixture & switch!

Using this for my kittens in the area of their litter box. Works great from the sides and the front. They set off the sensor with their tails in the air. It is bright white but not blinding. Light is pretty big compared to others I’ve tried.

These light sensors work really well on my staircase. They are fast to respond to motion, turn on within 10 feet and have a bright enough light. I have not attached them to the wall as I keep changing their position and have them standing on the floor for the time being. I can't say anything about battery length as I haven't had them long enough. I would definitely recommend them.
