A must by for any Casio watch collector
The Casio AQ-S820W is the kind of watch that quietly does everything while asking for nothing in return. It looks rugged without screaming “tactical,” keeps perfect time, and shrugs off daily abuse like it’s a hobby. Solar-powered, comfortable, and loaded with useful features, it somehow makes me feel both punctual and prepared for an unexpected hike, power outage, or extremely serious grocery run. Classic Casio reliability at its best—no charging cables, no nonsense, just a watch that shows up every day and gets the job done. Casio is just the best value in watches.

Good value
I like Casio watches in general and this is no exception. It’s a great everyday watch that recharges from sunlight.

Good Watch for the Price
This watch is really nice and a good value. It is a better-looking watch than the previous one in the series. Once you figure out how to set it, it works great. I am very happy with it.

Incredible value
Looks great! Unbelievable for the price, just don’t expect a fine watch. I own the previous version, which is also great. I just don’t especially like the way it looks. It looks like a watch for a little kid. This watch looks like it’s for a grown up. Great beater/travel watch. If you break it (not easy to do!), or if you lose it, it’s not the end of the world. Best cheap REAL watch out there. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s a pain in the neck to set. It’s actually a 4 1/2. It’s not supposed to be a dress watch or a precision Swiss (or even Japanese) watch, but it’s worth way more than the price would suggest.

Great casio watch
Great watch for casual wear. The sand color goes well with many outfits. Im glad I bought it, yet my wife didnt at first. She didn't like the sand color at first, but now likes it now that she see's it goes well with deferent shirts. On another note, this Casio has a similar functionality as a G Shock and I love the Tough Solar. Plus this watch seems to be more durable than my Timex that used to work. Caution: just don't go crazy with it because it has resin glass instead of mineral. Overall, great watch for the budget

Great watch for the money!
Very nice watch! Easy to read. Comfortable on the wrist. Keeps perfect time. I like the fact that it's solar. Typical Casio interface. Great watch for the money, can't go wrong. Durable watch for everyday.

Refined Upgrade To The AQS810W
Nicely upgraded version of the 810. Has a slightly larger window for the digital display. A welcome improvement over the 810. Functions are basically the same as it's predecessor. Only 3 color options available right now. I opted for the tan version which looks quite nice. Casio opted for an acrylic crystal on this. Would've been nice if they used mineral glass, but not a deal breaker. I ordered a screen protector for mine, but if you do manage to scratch the resin crystal, a little Poly Watch should take care of it. Its a good size, beefy looking watch, but very lightweight. I opted to change the strap on mine using a pair of Jay's and Kays adapters and went with a NATO strap. Just personal preference. Over all, I'm pleased with my purchase and like the improvements the 820 offers. I still plan on rockin' my 810 tho which is still a nice, budget Tough Solar offering by Casio.

Good idea?
Pros Solar power and you do not worry a battery Cons Programming this watch is difficult! World access means you have to have this right before you can do anything else. Getting the time right is also hard because the hands move at the touch of a button and they move quickly. Instruction manual definitely could be better.
