This little box has been very useful for me. The metal body feels strong and gives a sense of security when I store my documents and small valuables. It comes with two keys which I really like because having a backup brings peace of mind. The lock turns smoothly and the lid opens wide enough to see everything without digging around. Inside, the tray keeps things separated so cash, cards, coins, and papers stay organized instead of getting mixed up. The size is perfect for important documents that you want to keep together in one place, and it is lightweight enough to carry if you need to move it from room to room. The finish looks clean and does not show fingerprints. For basic home security and keeping personal items safe, this box works better than I expected. I bought this box a couple years ago. It's worked really well so far. Good size, sturdy and the lock mechanism, and keys work really well. Keys are sturdy too, no issues when trying to open the box. We use it for a small amount of cash and also for some documents. We know it's NOT fire-safe but it works well for our needs. It also includes a coin tray that is placed right on the top before you shut the lid. One other thing that I like is that it's very light; easy to carry around if you need to do that. I'd definitely purchase again if I needed another lock box!

They fit. We might need the lock box for the same reason. It fits the bottles. I need it for a bottle that is used for medicine taken at home. If I have your attention, you will find this info useful. I’ve used and seen many lock boxes over the years; this one is sturdy. It won’t come unlocked if it’s locked. If you want a medium or small size lock box, check if the inside is the same as this and your answer is yes, it’ll hold them depending on the amount of bottles. The box I have is the large size and it will easily hold up to 30 bottles or more, standing up. You’ll be able to transport the bottle from point A to point B, and lock/unlock using 1 of the 2 keys. The lock works. So, if you need it for that reason, you should give yourself a pat on the back because you are taking care of your health. You’ll be able to store your bottles safely. I’ll need this box as the bottle number increases. I’m not sure if it is fire proof. It is thick enough for its purpose. I like the color too. *Reading reviews and seeing pictures helped but I wanted to uploaded a video recording for people searching for lock boxes. I found reviews helpful. I wasn’t sure how many bottles would fit and I purchased the large lock box. It functions as a locked box for money and it can hold folded letters too. You can store anything that will fit. I put a bottle in my review and pictures to help you find the right box.

It works really well and all of my Money fit into the Box without any issues.

Works well to take to the clinic to hold my methadone doses. I can hold 2 weeks worth of doses. Once I get up to monthly doses I’m going to have to find a bigger box.

I love all these little metal boxes. There are obviously drawbacks, like someone can just run off with it, but they work well and serve their purpose. I'm sure they can withstand some fire, but I wouldn't count on it. It is pretty sturdy, looks like the rest of these same generic money boxes. Value for the money is usually on spot. So it looks decent, fair value, and the mechanism to open and close. (As long as you don't lose the key like I did and now I have to pick the lock every time I need in it. So I advise you don't lose them, haha.) I will say that there is a slight smell to it, I believe it's from the plastic tray. I haven't tried washing it, but that may help with some sort of degreaser.
