Will this work on wooden gears?

I believe this is specifically for plastic or synthetic materials only. The only thing I would suggest trying to keep the wooden cogs moving smoothly would be a wood conditioner, which will extend the life of the wood, and make the engagement move smoothly. This is only a suggestion. Good luck!

Will it work on heavy metal zippers like on a Carhartt jacket?

It should. I've used it on various zippers. However, nothing like the Carhartt. It will take more product because of the zipper size. It does wear off and will wash off. So you have to reapply occasionally.

Will this work on the Yenti cooler zipper?
