I feel like there should be more liquid in it. I’ve had it for a year and I feel like liquid has evaporated from it. if you buy one by the big one, because the crystals or whatever’s inside of it, not that fascinating in the small one.

I bought this with high expectations, but it didn't do anything. It does look cool at night with the different colors you can put in but overall, I can highly say it doesn't work. I have a regular barometer in our house and watched that to compare what the storm glass did. We had several low-pressure areas come through and my regular barometer really dropped low once but the storm glass did not react. The other thing also is this is a non-returnable item even if you have the original package, it was shipped in. Amazon considerers it breakable but hey, I give Amazons customer service 5 stars because without any problems they refunded me my money without any hassles. They have always been number 1

Very pretty, but not very accurate. The crystals DO move around depending on the weather. Bought one for my husband and gifted the second one. Pretty colors. Sits on a side table in our living room.

I saw this very first tome at my friends place where I was fascinated by the way it works and the utility of it. I have been using this since 3 weeks during which I have seen different weather patterns like a little snow, hot and rainy days and cold winds too. I pretty much feel that it really accounts these and the LED at the base of give this storm glass more amazing view too. As my girlfriend liked this, I am planning to gift this to her and it even is made from good hard glass which wont break unless this fell from a height too.

I chose this item as it was noted as the best one.... the item is tiny and the base was broken.. absolutely Not worth over the $50 I spent on it. Since it was a gift, I was embarrassed when the recipient opened it to see that some how the top of the glass went through the base... It is a neat looking piece, but NOT worth almost $60.... and it never changed.. also, notice the nasty cord.. it was NEVER even taken out of the box... it was received like that!

This is definitely a fun piece to have in my house. I live in the midwest so the weather is changing often. My son and I have it placed by the front door so we like looking at it and trying to figure what the weather will be like for the day. As stated in the description, this is a decorative piece. My son loves all the different varieties of colors for the light. This is definitely something that I will consider buying as gifts for people in the future.
