Fast Charger 30W MacBook Pro Charger with Type-C Cable Power Supply Fire-Proof PD 4.0 (30W +Cable)

Bought an international phone that came with 18W EU charger and US adapter. A bulky adapter... not happy.My phone supports QC 4.0+ so I decided to buy this one.First try it did not work! No LED light on the charger to tell you it is working. I have several type-C cables, but none type-c to type-c to replace the provided one.I was ready to send it back when I decided to give it another try with my 'old' phone that has a type-c port as well. To my surprise it was working. Then I start trying different combination and I discovered that my new phone works as well, but only with one cable position, like the cable is unidirectional :) (i don't believe so!). I permanent marked the cable so I can use it with any of my two phones without fussing around. Tried again, and again and again. Charged every time I plugged the cable.Now, here comes the test:my Xiaomi phone with 4000mAh battery, fast charged from 50% to 90% in 30 minutes flat!Charger was almost cold!In other words, in my book, this is a great buy/deal.

Purchased Aug 27, 2019 & started noticing it seemed not to be charging devices in November 2021Today, 03 Feb 2022, I have a completely dead device that has been on the charger the whole time.Given that this is no longer for sale, and that I bought it for $17 I suppose I got a reasonable value out of it.

My original review is listed below, being rated at two stars.Within a day or two of my low review, the company contacted me directly to offer me a brand new one, free of charge. Because it was past the return period, I didnt think I had the option of getting a new one. But all I had to do was say yes and the new one was here within a couple days. They didnt even hassle me for the old one back. VERY impressed with the customer service. New one is working great!They didnt ask me to update my review, I felt that they earned the other stars back :)Original review--------Doesnt sustain charge capabilities long termThis worked great the first few months but now when I use it, it charges my device for a about 10 seconds, then stops for about 10 seconds, then works again, etc. Ive tried different outlets and cords, but its definitely this charging base. Still usable when I just want to charge and not use (obviously takes longer to charge than when I first got it), but its an annoyance when I want to charge and use simultaneously.

Update 6/7/19: Turns out the USB-C to USB-C cable went bad. Charger still works. Not a very durable cable.Update: The seller did give me a replacement right away but now a few months later it isn't working. I wouldn't recommend this charger.Just received the charger and it gave no power. Hard to tell if it was a defective cable or a defective charger. The charger itself doesn't have an LED to let you know it's putting out juice. I couldn't check with another cable because I don't have another usb-c to usb-c cable. I wish the port on the charger were usb-a like other chargers. Returning it.

The plug prongs are weak and barely grasp the electrical receptacle. It's just sort of hanging there loosely.A couple of times, it has not charged my phone due to this design weakness.Now I'm hesitant to use it since I don't want to wake up to an uncharged phone.Sort of junk in my opinion

It works to charge our phones and chrome books. Seems great to me.

I am very pleased with this charger. I bought two of them and have had them for a couple of weeks. One is being used with an iPhone XS Max (with a 2M Apple USB-C to lightning cable) and a 12.9" iPad Pro 2nd generation (using the same USB-C to lightning cable), and the other with an LG V40 (using the supplied USB-C cable). All three devices are working wonderfully with this charger and seem to charge rather quickly. Most impressive is the iPad, which syncs up with the charger at the highest voltage and current, as per my inline USB-C voltage tester. I would definitely recommend this charger as it functions as advertised. My only gripe is that I can't seem to find this device on Qualcomm's list of QC 4+ certified chargers. Not sure why, but I'm not concerned since it works great with all of my devices.

This charger works for my Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro which has Quickcharge 4+ capability. This phone should indicate "Quick Charge" on the display when 18-watt Quickcharge 3.0 is engaged and "Charge Turbo" when Quickcharge 4+ 27-watts is engaged. With this charger I DO NOT get the "Charge Turbo" display. It only says "Quick Charge". However, I verified that it does indeed charge at the full 27-watts. So, even though it does not display the correct charge status on my particular phone, it does provide the correct charge protocol. And it charges fast. Nice product at a fair price.
