Wilks-USA RX545 Very High Powered Pressure Washer - 210Bar

Arrived a few days ago. Big box but all OK when opened. Packing very good. I was in the process of laying in an outside tap. Removed all parts from the box and set about assembling the washer. Located the instruction manual and hearin lies the issue. In basics the manual is quite good but the reality is it's not. It does not mention that you need a threaded hose quick release nozzle that fits the water inlet joint. There is a tool holster for tge attachments but it does not say how you raise the handle to allow the access of the tools to tge holster/storage area....I faffed and farted around slightly bending the attachments in around the various nozzles to locate the tools into the storage section but thinking at the time I'm sure I read that the pull handle could be raised.. yes it can. Nice 40mm yellow button with 'Push' on it but no indication as to for what...common sense prevailed with a good bit of logic that inline...sort of...the push pull handle so pushed it and the handle came up...please do this to eliminate any damage to the accessory tools...once you know etc. The kit also comes with a coiled black hose..quite some length...absolutely no idea what its for because the destructions do not mention it but hey...it'll work something. Please aware that some of the bras threads are fouled up basically because of bad engineering...thread on cut after without dressing. No problem if you have an engineering background but someone who pays this but are, say no mechanical experience, would be stuffed...come on guys..easy quality inspect here and clean the threads up...Also the destructions do mention nozzles...and great the uses of each and all (sort of) have a pushfit compartment on the unit....apart from 1...the instructions mention red, yellow, green, white AND black/Blue...all are visible in front of you...ALAS the Blue/Black slot isn't there...this is for the wash/foam etc...please be aware that this is in a small poly back as an after thought which can be disguarded if not carefull when assembling with all waste package. This needs a slot somewhere with the rest of the kit...how this was missed beggar's belief but coukd have been a later addition we'll never know lol. Apologies for going on but my reviews are trying to give you an insight.So I can add more and being as it's the first use use lets offer some positives now. Wow...the power is incredible...I've owned a number of power washers and no longer buy the market so called leader...Karcher...reason, they're rubbish and over rated...every single one I've owned over thirty years has failed after a number of uses over anbout 18 months or so and very dear to purchase replacement parts, Nilfisk are good kit and would buy again...recommend for sure...I still have an Argos special challenge jobby from 30 year ago with is still going string in its basic fashion but the accessories failed long ago so needed a new thing for doing the new patio and read several reviews on a number of various from Karcher to Nokfisk and son on...one Stood out to tools and power...Walks. 200 Quid wow bit dear but it comes with, well, basically everything you pay extra for on ALL others. Copper/brass internals which are extremely reliable and longevity is well above everything else. Purchased. Took a couple of days to arrive. Assembled as above but first impressions are what a piece of kit this is..as soon as you hit the loud button it's power hits you, big jolt and it throws out water faster with more power than the grid can supply. This really is one powerful piece of kit...fence posts...grimmy concrete, flags, gates, garage doors all look like new. Early days but first impressions wow...buy one.

Assembly and set up from the box only took 15 mins. All the accessories were included. Most of these accessories (excluding the patio cleaner and additional pressure hose) can be stored on the pressure washer. I have used it to clean my front patio which was badly weathered and stained. Now it looks good as new. The patio cleaner struggled to take off the deep stains on the patio and I would recommend the patio cleaner as a "follow up cleaner" after you have done a deep clean. The turbo nozzle wasn't as effective as I anticipated. The various angled pressure nozzles were very effective at deep cleaning the patio and kerbs and a special pin was provided to clean and unblock these nozzles. The detergent tank is there if you need to use it and it is recommended that you use detergents made specifically for pressure washers. The pressure washer is easy to manoeuvre and the additional pressure hose allows you to reach longer distances without trying to move the pressure washer continually (ensure the electrics are not getting wet and when moving the washer, be wary of the water hose inlet) When turning on the pressure washer it does make a churning noise but nothing to be worried about (machine is building up pressure). The pressure washer is loud but not deafening.

Excellent pressure washer with loads of on board storage for all accessories.I do doubt the 210bar pressure although it is powerful.Very light and easy to maneuver.Different attachments are easy to change.Reeled hose and extra extension hose (I drape this around washer for storage)Simple to assemble, 2 screws and a few slide on plastic holders.Adjustable power adapter, extendable handle, larger detergent holder.Overall good quality feel. It is worthy of a 5 star review but I dropped a star as it comes with a bribe to do a 5 star review, which I hate. Let people give honest reviews, the product is good enough to get 5star without a bribe.My old washer was a Karcher and this is equal if not better.Loads of accessories including wash brush, rotary brush, patio cleaner, interchangable nozzle patterns.Highly recommended.

My Wilks-USA RX545i is working fine and this particular Power Washer came with many accessories, each with its own special purpose. The machine appears to be precision made and is in pristine condition.Assembling the Power Washer was easy but it is essential to first read the Operator Manual from cover to cover. The Manual, written specifically for the Wilks-USA RX545i, was very clear, with illustrations to every important feature. It's a good idea to just slowly try each accessory out, just to get used to how they work. The Patio Scrubber, a large circular yellow device with two rotating jets and a brush surrounding the circumference is very useful. The Gutter cleaning tool, comes with a curved head but an extension wand is really required to reach higher gutters and it seems that this can be purchased separately.Cleaning my Motorbike after its Winter Hibernation was so easy. The hand Brush is ideal for that and for Car Cleaning too. The Shampoo flows nicely through the Brush and allows for cleaning all the difficult to access places. The fixed Shampoo Reservoir is a great improvement upon older power washers and allows for a good flow of Shampoo, simply by adjusting the flow rate with the big dial on the body of the power washer.

Great product, very happy with it so far. Better value for money than Kärcher which has less pressure and is more expensive (comparing the Kärcher K5 ~£300 & 140 bar / K7 ~£400 & 180 bar vs the Wilks RX545 £199 & 210 bar). Only thing I found was that the instructions could be clearer in explaining that the additional hose is an extension for the in-place reel and gun (simply connect to both). Otherwise much of the assembly is straight forward and intuitive. Again, highly impressed with the pressure and ease and speed with which dirt is removed from surfaces.
