Wren's DSP optimization allows you to play louder with more bass and less distortion. Solid Anti-Resonance Enclosure Beneath the beautiful wood veneers, the Wren V5 cabinet is constructed of half-inch thick MDF board constructed by laminating layers together and reinforced with an internal MDF brace to provide a chassis free from resonance and coloration. As speaker designers have known for years, you just can't beat the timbre of timber!Acoustic Damping Silicone Base Pad. The underside of the Wren V5 is covered with a 4mm low durometer silicone pad that stabilizes the chassis and absorbs any cabinet vibration, eliminating surface coupling buzz and coloration. Acoustically Transparent Grille Frame. Cheap or poorly designed grilles can seriously impair a speaker's acoustical output.
