The backs are not easy to use on French wires because the holes are tiny. It is not easy to push the backs the entire way up the wire. Seems like maybe they were meant for studs, but I haven't tried that yet. The case they came in was impossible for me to open. I eventually had to cut the latch off with scissors in order to open the case. Disappointed in the purchase.

Earring backs can be the most annoying things in life - constantly getting lost, and so difficult to see. These are a silicone piece that slides on easily to an earring post or wire. They aren't very big, but they do the trick. Easily enough to slide, and the don't fall off. The box they come in seems sturdy enough and is easy to open and close. It is small enough to fit in a jewelry box or tucked away. Worthwhile purchase.

They're comfortable to wear, but kind of hard to hold on to. I had hoped they'd be a little larger -- they're tiny!

These are inexpensive, don’t fall off, and best of all don’t irritate my ears. I’ve ditched most of my metal backings and replaced them with these. I’ve realized that earrings I thought I was allergic to are actually fine with a different backing. You can use them on posts but also on the back of fish hook style earrings to keep them secure. They take a few weeks to get here as they are shipped internationally.

I don't expect to lose another earring. These backs fit securely and they stay on as do my earrings. They are so much more secure than the cheap backs that come with the original earrings I buy. Of course, they are cheap too, but I like costume jewelry especially in the good old summertime. I don't plan to ever worry about lost earrings again.

These worked great. I used them on 3 different types of earrings for a wild wedding for a precaution. They didnt split at all and held tight. I didnt have any problems getting them on at all. 2 sets of post and 1 dangling wire earrings. I even gave a few to my daughter. She had lost some of her backs. She didnt have any issues either. These should last a long time. I use self locking on my everyday earrings or I would be wearing these all the time.

I like that they are easy to hold on to. They grip the earring post very tightly. There is no way that they can accidently fall off.On the down side if I am not careful, the earring post will bend when trying to put the back on. Hopefully over time of use the little hole will loosen up some to make it easier to slide on the post without bending the post.
